Les Mills Kia Kaha

Atlanta Quarterly

What a gig! The Atlanta quarterly at the weekend was just awesome and absolutely one of the best I’ve taken part in. Also an amazing feeling of deja vue for Emma, Mike, Steve and I – having been on the team who first brought BODYPUMP to the US back in 1997. Doing the new round of quarterlies is like starting afresh in the States and the reception on Saturday was fantastic.

It was a huge day full of highlights but the biggest had to be the impromptu haka which the guys on stage did in the middle of the BODYPUMP master class. Twice actually – once dressed, the second shirtless! Great to bring a slice of Kiwi culture to the scene and great to see the reaction from the 300 committed instructors.

Just an amazing adrenaline-pumping day. On now to Dallas, Portland and Vegas!

The Atlanta quarterly was an absolute blast! The first I have taken part in with an excitement for many more to come! The dance the guys did on stage was well worth the 8 hour rode trip from Tampa, Florida and the 10 hours it took us to get home! Thank you to all of the amazing trainers who took the time to talk with the instructors one on one! The rush of adrenaline and excitement of the weekend was a feeling like no other!!

Just returned from the Atlanta Quarterly workshop June 11. Absolutely AWESOME! The complete attitude of professionalism as well as superb training technique made me exceptionally grateful the clubs I work for chose Les Mills. BodyStep was GREAT! BodyPump with the "warriors" was exceptional! BodyCombat was better instructed and less complicated and BodyFlow was beautiful as usual.(I didn't RPM but heard it too was great.) It was a day well spent with highly valued colleagues and mentors.

The Atltanta Workshop was an unbelievable experience! To meet all of the international master trainers was a Group Fitness dream come true. I was very impressed with the professionalism and personaliites of everyone involved. It is sad to see you all go back but I am very exicted to be a part of this new wave of Group Fitness coming to North America. This is only the beginning!!

I am still buzzing from the Atlanta quarterly!
The haka you guys did was so neat. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after that number! All of the guys looked GREAT, with and without their shirts on!
Hats off to the one guy trainer who taught BODYSTEP. (I am not sure what his name was...) The microphone was not working on his tracks but he managed to keep all 300 of us moving with perfect visual cues. WOW! Excellent job. Also, I have to say how much I enjoyed meeting Dan and Rachel from BODYCOMBAT. The intensive they did with us was helpful and Dan had me cracking up the whole time. I hope they come back to the States soon! Thanks again for such a dynamic and memorable experience.

Fantastic! Going back and teaching Pump on Monday was a little tough after getting such a great workout on Saturday, but it was entirely worth it. I had never taken any of the other Les Mills programs and it was exciting and invigorating. I am so thrilled about the August Quarterly, and our club may be adding another program soon!
