Peace In The Rockies

After the craziness of a full on week at IHRSA25 in Las Vegas (which Phillip says was the best industry convention he has ever attended), he wanted to go up into the Rocky Mountains to clear his head in the beautiful mountain air. Part of the motivation for this was we are writing a book for Random House on building exercise and eating habits which are sustainable both for the individual and the planet. We needed time where we could focus on this. A really inspiring place for me to choreograph too!

During the days we have been skiing with Lori Lowell, who is the Group Fitness director for Golds Gyms International. Lori is a very passionate, driven person. She has a background in touring the world with a Sephardic music and dance group started by her mother and is totally committed to developing a very high standard of group fitness in Golds Gyms.

Phillip is going home next week to spend time with the group of Dutch and Belgian club owners who are visiting us in NZ and I'm off to Boston for the Yoga Journal convention.

There are truly some inspirational parts of the world to get inspiration from.

If you every get over to Australia visit outback Western Australia or just find a place on Rottenness Island or on a secluded beach in WA. Some truly magic moments in my life have occurred there. Or in the tropical north of Queensland or on the scenic drive along the coastline of Victoria or up the Cradle Mountains of Tasmania.

The world is truly a wonderful place.

I hope you get inspired by the scenery and write some magic choreography.
