Les Mills Kia Kaha

Studio One, Les Mills World Of Fitness, Auckland

Well, after many years a few of us in this day and age resort to a little “nip ‘n’ tuck” - so Studio One has had his/hers? Studio One has undergone many upgrades over these years, but NONE come close to the one just completed.

All the Les Mills “big guns” have had a huge input into the making of this amazing Group Fitness Room, and need a big thank you. We now have one of the biggest and most technologically advanced Group Fitness Room in the world.

Group Fitness Manager Chris Richardson has had a major renovation project on his hands and has handled it with great decorum. With 10 days on the cards, 10,000 members and tons of new materials and workmanship to do, we are now in the final stages of preparation, and all ran smoothly ( they say!!) .

Instructors are all getting a lesson in how to control the new 'systems'…oooooh, I'm so excited!!!

YOU guys will have an opportunity to experience this new facility on May 6th in the GFX Convention run in conjunction with LMI & LMNZ.

This is going to be the BIGGEST Fitness Party we have seen here in NZ. 80 gyms from all over the country will be sending their instuctors up to Auckland to experience the new quarterly releases, AND to experience the FILMING of the NEXT QW releases…all in the same day!!!

I have already heard from many international instructors, making the trip down to NZ to be apart of this!! And its easy!! All you have to do is contact carla.fitzsimons@lesmills.co.nz to book your place!! DON’T WAIT - you can only start to imagine how busy it is going to get down here…..phew!!

Did I mention the garage party we are having apres classes/filmings? (Hmm…note to self, must get heaps of sleep before this party hits town)

Filming times for the 3/2006 releases are:

RPM™ 32:  11.30AM
BODYSTEP™ 65:  12.45PM
BODYPUMP™ 59:  3.00PM
BODYCOMBAT™ 29:  4.30PM
BODYATTACK™ 54:  7.00PM
BODYBALANCE™ 34:  8.30PM
BODYJAM™ 38:  10.00PM

Wow, that looks cool. Too bad I just missed it. But it was also good to see the old studio. I was already impressed by the size and number of members visiting the classes. Unfortunately I will have to wait till oct/nov to go backand see the new studio ... but at least it's something to look forward to. I had a great time in Auckland and it was nice meeting you guys. Have fun with the filming and ofcourse with the party. We have our quarterly in may for BC28, BA53 & BP58. Can't wait.

Wow... it looks great. Too bad I just missed it.... but still, the old studio was quite impressive as well. Big and so many participants in a class at once. It was a great experience to be in Auckland and see it all. 6 may is going to be to soon for me to go back, but I'm still planning to visit again okt/nov:-)
And while you guys are doing the filming for all new classes again, I'm looking forward to our quarterly in may for BC28, BA53 and BP58.
Keep up the good work.

Awww May 6th! But that's so soon, and not nearly enough time for us over in the US. Oh well, I will make it over there one day. And I will get to experience this fancy new studio.

We miss you over here in Texas, Rach. Hope to run into you again soon. I guess we'll just have to get used to Josef for now...haha, just kidding! We love him.

BC27 is so...raw; and stinkin' tough. Everyone LOVES the Muay Thai...such a great opportunity to "unleash." Waiting (im)patiently for our next round of quarterlies for BC28...

...and all of the other programs, too!

Is it possible for LM to be any more inspirational?

Love it all,
The little Texas girl

Lucky people are those who can attend these classes! It looks great, and I `m sure it will be a real great experience.
Thanks to the team LesMIlls, the people who make us move, and who gave us a possibility to share the passion.
You can`t imagine how I`d like to be there (in Russia we`re still having RMP29 :( )
Good luck to you all!

I'll be there. Can't wait! Left home before 27 was launched so I might have to go to a few classes before the filming to make sure I can manage it though!

I just had to comment on the "Yeeeeeargh!!!!"  I laughed out loud.

Is the Storm in town again for this launch?  He's known to blow a few stereos with this!

Have a fantastic weekend.  Look forward to seeing the team in August in Toronto!  Big hug and kiss to you and Dan.

Great studio, lights and sound especially if your at the front or middle. Pitty it looses its atmosphere when your down the back and the music is all the way up the front (big room). Maybe one day all the speakers on the roof could be used so everyone can have atmosphere around them where ever they stand.  Wish I had this room where I teach........
