Les Mills Kia Kaha

4/2006 RELEASE IN THE CAN

The 4/2006 release is safely “in the can” guys and the classes are simply fantastic!!! We filmed all seven on Sunday amidst incredible passion and energy in Studio One. Special thanks to Kili Marti for coming down from the U.S. to join the BODYCOMBAT and BODYJAM presenter teams and to Ute Wagner from Germany for presenting on BODYATTACK and our milestone BODYPUMP 60 class. Ute has been instructing BODYPUMP since it first came to Germany in 1997 and, incredibly, she’s the first German trainer we’ve ever had fronting in a filming masterclass. It’s been a delight having her in town with partner Uwe Hartert (Uwe is Sales Manager for our German agents, Bonsport, and he’s just about to take up a new job as Les Mills country manager for Austria. Good luck Uwe!) Thanks, too, to Pete Manuel, for coming over from Sydney to join the two other BODYPUMP “originals”, Emma and Steve.

This picture shows the BODYPUMP 60 filming team: Steve, Emma Pete, Glen, Susan and Ute. Check out the other shots of Kili, Ute and Ute with Uwe.

Can't wait for the next release. I'm going to Super Saturday in Sweden in september to catch release #3 with Susan Tolj, that's going to be a big moment for me to see her in action. Susan rocks! Go girl!!!

What can I say about Body Jam 38!!! My God!  It is soooo good it hurts!  I have taught it three times and it gets better each time as participants are just going crazy over this release.  By the end of the disco warm-up they are laughing and hanging loose and are so relaxed they are ready to party.  The latin block just sends every one crazy - especially when the flamenco jump comes in - WOW! It looks amazing from the stage seeing everyone's arms up in unison.  The contemporary block is where we turn our lights down and the coloured disco lights on flashing around the studio mirrors.  It is absolutely euphoric.  Everyone is just losing themselves in the music.  Thankyou so much for your amazing work G.  You are forever evolving this program and reaching out to so many people and just simply making them feel so good.  As an instructor, I have never felt better about teaching.  I'm inspired all over again!!
