Les Mills Kia Kaha

Hi there steppers and attackers!

As Jackie says, the new classes are all finished and I can’t wait for you to see them (here’s the BODYATTACK 55 filming team of me, Will, Bevan and Ute). Filming the new releases is always a highlight but then it all starts again and we’re already working on the 1/2007 classes for filming in November. BODYATTACK 56 is looking good and Mark and I have some great ideas for BODYSTEP 67. Meanwhile, all the program directors are traveling a lot and many of us will be going to Portugal for the Euro-training summit and Chicago for the first-ever North American training summit in the next few weeks. Then it’s back to Auckland to prepare for filming and more travel in November - Mark Sinclair and I are going to Brazil for quarterly workshops and that will be a blast, as always.

Love,
Lis

Ps – forgot to mention another little project I’m working on which is getting ready for a half marathon in October. Doing aerobics is great for your fitness but running is a different kettle of fish and this training is hard work, people!!

if you are running in the Auckland Marathon?, take in the view on the bridge, def pace but enjoy it and go hard at the end (running is like attack!). its a really enjoyable run, good luck! U should let us know how u go.
As you say running is so different from aerobics, more of a mental challenge i think!

Cant wait till next year, and see what awesome things you have coming for attack. loved the new stuff!

Hey Lisa
After the last filmings, you & your team have given me the right inspiration to do attack training early in 07, and to give even more in B/step.
Thanks for everything

Lisa (and all attackers) Body Attack has totally reconditioned my body. As you mention you are training for the Marathon. I ran my first ever 10K on Labor Day here in Atlanta (the bigest in regards to the route) all hills. I finished in 1:18 and I even walked 1/4 mile to recover mid way. Attack did this to me! I was not even close to being a runner prior to the attack training. Props to Joella and whoever comes up with this stuff! Keep Attacking!

Hi, there!

I have a general question about the running track i bodyattack;
when the choreography says "anticlockwise run around the room", are  we as instructors to run anticlockwise or the participants? Because we usually run opposite of the people in our classes......

Hope someone will answer:o)

I go left (anti-clockwise) first then right (clockwise) second

An unwritten rule is partipants lead right - in  BS too.

When you go anti-clock first then clock second - you will follow the partipants "lead right" rule

Body Attack has always been my fav LM program and you make it so inspiring, energetic and fun. I can remember doing your classes at Recreation Armadale and Carnegie and you were "just" an instructor. Would love to do one of your classes if you ever did one in Melbourne again

I was wondering if how long it takes to build muscles in the lower body by doing body step. Any ideas?
