February 2007 is a big month for Les Mills – and maybe the biggest ever for our Auckland-based web team! The guys have been working for months on an amazing new website that’s on final countdown to launch.
The new site at www.lesmills.com will continue to offer the currently available features, including Kia Kaha.
But we’ve created a huge new online home for the Les Mills “family”, with an amazing array of cool new functions.
Instructors get access to an all-new channel, for example, where they can create their own personal space for class members and friends to visit.
We’ve also created new program forums, an archive of quarterly education sessions and a Healthy Living section with instructor-specific nutritional advice.
All visitors to the site will be able to view new demo clips where they learn the moves they’ll use in class - and find their nearest LES MILLS™ club with a new class locator tool.
And anyone will be welcome to join a huge social community of LES MILLS™ people sharing news and views in forums and blogs.
You can also download a new BODYJAM routine to your Ipod. Gandalf has created this specially for the new site and jam fans will be able to work on the moves whenever they please.
Meanwhile, Les Mills’ licensed clubs will get easy access through the site to an expanded and updated eClub, complete with extra marketing tools and resources.
The LES MILLS™ Group Fitness Management system is also available for the first time online.
Comments on Kia Kaha have now been disabled until the launch while we copy the content over to the new site.
Stand by for the launch. This will be something you won’t want to miss!
