BODYSTEP release #80 is creeping up on us fast, and i'm planning to do an 80's release. What are some of your all time favorite 80's songs?

    Wow! 20 years of BODYSTEP!

    Rock on!

OK...I posted once already but it was too long...I removed it and condensed my list:

    Tainted Love- Soft Cell

I Just Cant Get Enough(Alex Twister Video Edit) -Systematics

    Sunglasses At Night- Corey Hart

    I Ran- Flock Of Seaguls

    Lets Go Crazy- Prince

    Mickey- Toni Basil

Whip It- Devo (MOPS, I have a great idea for costumes!)

    Sweet Dreams- Eurhythmics

    Super Freak- Rick James

    Control- Janet Jackson

You Dropped A Bomb on Me- The Gap Band

OK, now I have reduced my list! Its gonna be tough picking from ALL the great 80s songs. I can't wait.

I hope you are not going to suggest the male steppers to grow a 80s mustache! Ick! LOL

Btw. some nice suggestions in your post, especially sweet dreams, prince and the sunglasses at night. There are also many nice remixes of the these 80s songs.

    Re: BODYSTEP #80

As a newbie about to go through training in 2 weeks (but a true Gen Xer of the 80s) I've limited my suggestions to five.

    1. Prince - Let's Go Crazy...anything by Prince

    2. Madonna - Dress You Up

    3.  The Police - Every Little Thing She Does is Magic

    4.   Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me with Science

    5. Elton John - I'm Still Standing

I'm also voicing an agreement with timbjammer.  "Don't Stop Believing"...would make an excellent cooldown.

Janet Jackson: Rhythm Nation, Miss You Much, When I Think of You, What Have You Done for Me Lately

    Prince: When Doves Cry

    BBD: Poison

INXS:  can't remember the name of the song...lol

Steven Winwood:  also can't remember the song title, but Chaka Khan sang on it also

Also, a song like "Mickey" can becoming very annoying when heard many times in preparation for teaching.  Or having to listen to it 3 times in a month.  If memory serves me correctly from way back then.  Any song can get tiring.  But certain songs have a special ability.  So, Mark, please be kind.
