I sincerely doubt that he's laughing, however despite the protestations he is secretly thrilled to be in the spotlight and here's why:
Rod craves attention. Obviously he'd like it to be positive, but so keen is he to be noticed that just being talked about is enough. Being the centre of attention makes him feel important.
If he truly detested the negative comments, why continue to come back for more? And why deliberately perpetuate such threads. Much scorn has been aimed at those who "bait" him, but this is a two-way street and there is no incentive to bait unless it is taken.
Rod also wants to be admired. The CV on his profile and signature, the endless quoting of qualifications and abilities, and the masquerade as instructor are characteristic of someone who desperately seeks validation. His refusal to admit his lack of LM certification is understandable as that would constitute an admission of failure.
And I am no better for exploiting the above, including this writing this character assassination. However, it goes beyond offence. There are plenty of people on here who are capable of giving accurate, credible and qualified information without the waters being unnecessarily muddied by Rod.
But be careful not to play "holier than thou", RexFury, your record on here is far from flawless.
