    Osan:

Simple; You are so excited learning your new HRM your pulse goes up which - accidently - confirm how good it is. Cool

hehe ye that was my 1st thought too, but unfortunately the excitement has kinda worn off but my heart rate aint goin down!!  Although I have noticed that it remains pretty much the same when driving, which I guess shows I'm quite relaxed whilst driving lol Automobile

And thanks for that NZGlen, I will try resting for longer before i read it.  I guess even if it's not that accurate, all my results and settings will be relative to eachother so I can get the general gist! And ye it makes sense now, its just when i googled the cal/kcal thing it said 1 kcal = 1000cals, so when the watch gave the option of either kg/cms/kcals or lbs/ft/cals, i wasn't sure if cals and kcals would be different, if ya get me Tongue Tied

Anyway I'm loving it at the moment and could probably spend all day scrolling through my results looking at cals, time, HR etc... its my new baby Big Smile

I see on this string, most everyone praises the F11.  I just ordered the Suunto T3 on ebay after reading tons of reviews from all over the web.  Seemed like a better monitor than the F11.  It hasn't come yet (hope to get it this week) - but am curious to why everyone here seems to like the F11.
Don't think you can, KNOW you can!!

I have an F11. I think it's because it's a good watch, looks good, has good functions and you can get it for a good price. Also it seems to be stocked by a lot of sports shops so you can actually see it before you buy. Yes

There isn't much that differs overall, don't underestimate the force of commercial Cool

It doesn't matter that much if it is a Suunto, Reebok, Polar or habla-habla as long as it does the job and give you a somewhat reliable result to review.  It's still just a tool to see the borders of our training a little more exact, but it's still unsharp in the edges.  The person who lives entierly by his/her HRM have missed the purpose IMO.  Stick out tongue

I'm not afraid to make my next HRM a Suunto.  Suunto also do dive computers/watches, and if it wasn't for a minor "out of stock"-problem my dive computer would have been a Suunto, so I had to go for a Uwatec Aladin Prime.  The same goes for dive computers/watches - Most brands/models does the job so then it's just a matter of shape and color  ;)

I think all of us using HRM's are quite satisfied with the particular brand/model we use and that's the main thing. Yes

When everything is said and done; you can say it's easier said than done! :-D
