BC35 was too easy?  Dont know how you can say that, even my instructors are knackered by the end of each class with this release.  I think if you really push yourself 100% it a hard release.

Now that I have done BC36 in class, I can understand why the person you replied to said that BC35 was too easy because compared to this one, I gotta say, it was!

I gotta say, this release is amazing! Awesome moves, awesome music, awesome... Everything!! Big Smile

Can't wait to do it again tomorrow!!

Yeah, the things that I like about this release are:-

    - the warm up track was varied and bond... james bond

    - the claw in track 4

    - after doing track 5 my legs are killin' me !

and the areas that I didn't quite like were:

    - speed ball crunch (it's just a wierd move)

    - abs only track (too short), and perhaps better extended with upper body moves

In fact, I think BC would do better if it was extended by another 15mins or so - every track seems to go by so quickly !

Just saw the new stuff. and it is excellent.  Bravo to the dream team for laying it down.......AGAIN.

Innovation, intensity, and great tunes.  cant wait to get too it.

going to have problems getting into a dress like Rach's though.....  or i could just wear what one of the guys are wearing.  might get less raised eyebrows.

    Bravo D and R!

This is a key point!  Even if you say the music if naff and don't like this or that blah blah, we as instructors SEE the passion these two put in and our job is to make sure our participants do too!  Love the Zombie walk and of course Rach's "nah..nah" in T5 and in the tips!  It's hard for me to teach and not think about these moments.....!

Two weeks and counting for us to bring it home Yes

And this is another valid point! Isn't it strange that some instructors/participants can have such a wide range of thoughts on the same release!

In some places things like the ESK work well, others it doesn't ect.

Yes, people will like and dislike the odd thing in a release, but when you hear things like "This release is boring or dull" or "I can't get a workout in this release" next to comments like "The best Combat release ever", "I have never worked so hard as in this release" there is something up!

Now the choreography is the same everywhere, the music's the same everywhere so why such a big difference in opinions?

Answer: It must be partly down to the instructor/s as they are the only variable in the pre-choreographed format! Wink

Perfect timing for this quote.  Just yesterday I was going through BC 36 with a future instructor who has module training next weekend.  At one point she said something like, "you can really see how much these guys love what they do."

    Too true.

Easy to blame it on the instructors when there is an obvious difference, class age and gender demographics, is it a all-womens gym, is the class a good mix of men and women, is the class mostly men or women, is there alot of young people in the class, is there alot of older people in class, pregnant women, injuries, multi back-2-back class people, front row divas etc.

If people like the class they might come up and tell you, if they hate it they probably wont say, just not do the class again till this release is over..

I have a question for the instructors, how did you find learning the choerography, was it one of the easiest releases to get down?

We haven't launched yet (so we'll see how much I f* it up when I think I know it!) but it seems like it'll be a decently easy release to learn, IMHO. I only trained on BC33 (so I'm a new-er Combat instructor, and we all know it takes time to find the right way for you to learn choreo) and I'm finding it pretty easy to pick up.

    Re: BC36 - what a sensational release!!!

I'm really liking some of the familiar music in this one, and I think our class will like having some tunes they've heard before. Sure, we all luuuuuuurve Scooter, but sometimes it's nice to hear a new take on an old familiar.

PS. Freakin' LOVE the hook-hook-side kick in track 4. The entire release could suck (it doesn't!! IMHO) and I'd think it was awesome because of that, and the ginga-front kick in track 7!!!!!! BLOODY AWESOME!
