    Nah, you'll be fine.

There's only so many variations they can throw into the chest track. I'd be very surprised if they dispensed with the bar a la 68's triceps, so the chest press will be SOP with timing variations.

Press-ups seem to be the next most common move. Flys featured in 45 but I can't remember them reappearing thereafter (perhaps one of the "old guard" can confirm this).

    Re: Body Pump 70

In BP25 we had as a final part  PUSH UPS, in BP36 & BP45 we had FLYS. Thereafter no more. We had from chest up, which was in several tracks mixed with starting from the top. These are the only variations I know of in the past 10yrs. I cannot think of other possibilities, so it has to be something with the timing.

Ahem, I don't think BP 53 chest track song is called PUSH UP for nothing. Wink 47 (Push It) is equally challenging, there's 55 (Sweetest Poison) and a few more...

    Re: Body Pump 70

Well, I was talking to a guy today who is convinced I'll get 69, which would be better cos I could team teach straight away rather than waiting for the launch but we'll see...

Actually, I quite like flyes, I put them into my freestyle classes quites a lot, but the trouble would be holding a plate.  I can't manage anything bigger than a 1kg plate, dumbells are a whole different matter, so maybe Pump is better without flyes.  As for timing... down 3, up 5, down 1, up 7, turn it on its head, repeat 9 times... that's my prediction for chorus combo Huh?

    Re: Body Pump 70

We got BP 70 here in Sydney just yesterday, am watching the DVD on my day off (loser? yes..)

Chest has nothing new or amazing, just very slow tempos. Song is great though!!

Warm up is "Don't Leave me with the Light On" by Danzel. Nothing special, just another remix.

Lunges is Raindrops (Encore un Fois) great song. Squats again in the lunge track...

Triceps song the chorus has been edited to take out the bad word so all good there. And also no bar work so very similar to the track in 68 as far as feel goes.

Biceps track is an awesome song!

Will know more once we launch...

    have fun!

    Re: Body Pump 70

Thanks for solving the  " What is the Warm Up song"  mystery!  I am waiting for a warm up songs that hooks me right from the get go, still all time fav warm up is "Come to Me" and " Rain Down Love.

I think "Disturbia" would be a wonderful Warm up song, has the nice transitional parts to go from one exercise to another, but then again don't want to get a Rihana overdose.

Oh, I'm not knocking it, I will certainly give it a try...when I get it!   I probably won't even get the new release for another month or so. But I can't wait!    I am just look for  something  that grabs our attention right away and makes us say " This class is going to be killer!"

Squats again in the lunge track...

Oh NOOOOO! I hate hate hate this---never feel like I'm working hard enough. We have an entire track devoted to squats. Why bring them back in the lunge track?? At least they got rid of those awful front squats from 68.

Also BP37 had pushups as well at the end of Sweet Child O' Mine and BP38 had CHEST PULLOVERS (yep you heard me right) at the beginning.

My classes are not liking the 3/4 squat in BP69 after the numerous bottom-halves for each leg.  We are only releasing it this week and so far I've only seen a total of 4 or 5 participants who can last out the whole thing. Maybe once the releases are done after the 3 week period paticipants might be able to handle them.... I guess this is a good sign that it's something new for them to make them stronger.

Changing the shape of the world one class at a time.
