I do agree with Patrick that there is some good innovation in the back half of the release :-)
I also think that as this is billed as Les Mills entry level program it's logical that there should be elements from the other programs, so I'm not dissing track 5 for having moves from Body Combat in it, I think it's a good idea. I just think track 4 is SO boring and not particularly intense and then you go CRAZY in track 5, the cardio tracks just don't flow anywhere near as well as they have in the last couple of releases...
Track 2 makes me GAG! Both the music and the chorey!
I like track 3, but I think for less experienced instructors it will be difficult to teach the direction of it and less skilled groups will struggle to mirror the instructor. The chorey is more basic, which is good as I know LMI have had a lot of feedback that they need to calm down track 3 a bit, but working on the diagonal is hard for groups that are "challenged" when it comes to picking up new routines - it may turn some people off - which none of us want. It's going to take VERY clear cueing.
I think it's just a shame that for a release with such a strong back half, for me personally and knowing my participants, the reaction to the first half won't be anywhere near as positive as it has been on the last 3 releases.
But, as I said in my previous post, I do LOVE the music!!! apart from track 2 lol...
