I totally agree with you there Juliew...34 and 35 we're fantastic and loads of fun to do.  If 51 is looking like those then I'm very stoked to do it.  50 has certainly been a change in the right direction for me and the best part of it imo is the cardio funk....while I find I'm getting bored of the rest of 50 that part just is so much fun to do no matter how many times.  "I WANNA ROCK RIGHT NOW"

I soooooooooooooo hope its not like 34 and 35, the blocks are far too long with limited breakout opportunties. The music and dancing very dated. Im hoping its more like 50 as 50 is so going in the right direction in music and length of combo's. Id say to any instructors who are thinking about purchasing these releases...save your money and keep moving forward with the programme!!

Strange... some people here have said that 51 is like 34 and 35, whereas when I was doing 51, that didn't cross my mind in the slightest!  If anything, it reminded me of 43 and 47 simply because of the barrel rolls, 38 because of the latin, and a bit like big phat aussie house from 46.  You take from it what you take from it, I guess!

Yeah, I agree with Marshy!! In my eyes BJ51 is nothing like BJ34 and BJ35, except maybe the fact that I really liked all 3 releases instantly...

So Rocket, don't worry... BJ51 is gonna blow you away Big Smile

OYE!!!  Gandalf, te quiero mucho!!!  (now, i should make clear that i am a female in my profile...Embarrassed)

I am more than blown away, and drop dead looking at the great Cuban Salsa names with great numbers in the BJ51 tracklist!!  (oh, yes, Tito Puente was the king of mambo..., so oye como va may technically be a mambo...)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  BJ finally came to say hello to Cuban Salsa freaks!  I just can't wait!  This is really the best selection for the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010.  What a great message!!

    Re: BodyJam 51

I dont see any connections b/w 51 and 35 - i agree with Raina - 47 and 46 house blocks - with barrel rolls and the jump. tribal latin is soo much fun different i think from everything else in some parts, similar to other releases in the other parts.

i think its a big call to say its a ton better than 50 - but it maybe very close to it :)

    Re: BodyJam 51

You will find that they use the Original edit of "Shut Up and Let Me Go" in release 51. Which is great. The mix used in release 47 sounded nothing like the original. While it was an awesome dance track - it didn't have any of the sass and spunk of the original track.

If you'll remember that was the Freakin Fakin House Block

If i may provide a lyric,

"I ain't freakin, I ain't fakin this. Shut up and let me go! HEY!"
