    The sizzler has landed!

Don’t let the soft and flowing nature of BODYBALANCE 47 fool you – this is one of the most challenging releases ever created. Warm up with a series of simple, traditional Tai Chi exercises. The exercises are laid out in an evolving progression, making it easy for your class participants to master the moves. You will be challenged in the Sun Salutations Track. The new innovation is the 3-Legged Dog, shifting to Plank Pose and then sinking into Crocodile Pose. Find grace and make the movements feel beautiful in Track 4. There’s a gorgeous strength and balance sequence in this track, set to one of the most unusual pieces of music ever used in BODYBALANCE® – Soul Saviour’s For The Windows In Paradise, For The Fatherless In Ypsilanti. The Core – Abdominals Track features very slow, controlled Pilates moves which will put your endurance and abdominal strength to the test. The uplifting song Show Me What I’m Looking For brings back the Bow Pose and Pilates Swimmer Kicks, building back strength in Track 7. There’s also a new pose called the Scorpion, evolving from the 3-Legged Dog. Increase your mobility with the beautiful twisting poses to Beyoncé’s Halo, before coming into the Hamstring work to Annie Lennox’s stunning rendition of Whiter Shade Of Pale. You’ll love the Forward Folds and the Standing Split. Then relax into your own Quiet Place.

AHHHH MY GOD! i only just read this... and I SUGGESTED "for the widows in paradise"!!!! the song is originally by "Sufjan Stevens" you should totally check it out, it's an AWESOME track, if you've watch the OC at all, it's the song played on the beach at Johnny's funeral... lol random trivia... also check out Sufjan Stevens' rationale for the song...

"Let me do a song really quick about a small town up here called Paradise. Michigan has Paradise as well as Hell Michigan. It's kind of interesting. And, Um Paradise is a place...I noticed when we went up there to play a football tournament in high school, I noticed that there was all these single mothers and women and grandmothers but there weren't any men, and so I had sort of devised a story in my mind that they had all died in the war and that they were all widows. But they were really a very happy and optimistic community and they all seemed to be working together, and it was, like, women of the world take over. This is for the widows in Paradise."

also i see the "scorpion" thing is true... however it doesn't sound like the traditional scorpion...

"This is my body and I can do whatever I want to it. I can push it, study it, tweak it, listen to it. Everybody wants to know what I'm on... What am I on!?! I'm on my bike, busting my ass 6 hours a day. What are you on???"

Don't worry it should be an easy release to learn. There are a few long tracks to learn like tracks 1 and 2 but overall a great release.

You will love Bodybalance 47 :)

    Promise :)

    Re: Gossip on BB 47

Timing in Tai Chi is going to be tricky... especially at the start.  I think Balance (Track 4) will be the hardest... without falling flat on my face.

Just love the Standing Strength: Floating Half Moon, Sun Warrior... magic.

In what release was the last "gorilla" forward fold?  It was eons ago...

It was lovely....don't have much to compare to as I just trained on 46 but really enjoyed it.....  Lots of stuff to learn - new moves etc but it was a great way to round off Pump then Combat then Balance Big Smile

    Re: Gossip on BB 47

    Edited comment.

It is a wonderful release. The Scorpion Pose won't say much more, and the return of a pose from an ealier release (early 20's).

It is a classic closing to a 2009 year of Bodybalance.

What I hear 48 track 9 is def going to be a talking point for 1/4 (1) one 2010. :)

    So I hear :)
