    track 5 in release 71...

Ok, I'm finding that I feel REALLLLLY ackward while doing this track.  Am I the only one that feels that way?  Am i doing something wrong?  I que to squeeze the glute of the leg on the ground etc.  OH, the track does 'work', i feel it, but i feel weird doing it.

this is really a good track for working the quad on the step and the calf on the floor during the "running woman"....I have had peeps comment to me that it really does work the legs really well for them. That being said, yes I have seen many struggle with this track as it really is simple but somehow they seem awkward with it for some reason. Perhaps many have a problem getting their bodies in sync with the beat while running the arms while hoppin around at the same time...i dunno.  You don't find too many track fives that are any good really when it comes down to it...but this one is a good workout....and the music choice is very appropriate and has heaps of opportunity to be playful with it.

I agree, very "awkward" and for some reason a tricky track! I was allocated it during module and it was the only track in 71 I prayed not to get. Who knew counting to 7 could be so hard ;) One of our instructors wouldn't teach it after 2 weeks of the release.

In saying that it is tricky, it's also an awesome track and the lyrics give you so much to work with. Ultimately, even if we find it awkward, so long as our participants love it and we coach it correctly, that's what counts right? :)

There really is no need to count to 7 in this track.  Like most tracks learn by listening to the music which tells you when to change rather than counting beats or numbers of times you have done the move.  Its so much easier and far less stressful.  It also means you can put a lot more into the track as you don't have to spend the whole track thinking...

Its not the counting, i don't need to count the,, i just feel ackward with the move itself.  Again, I know it works, but just feels weird.  I guess i just don't like feeling ackward when I am the one on the stage:)  Oh well, I can change up my chorey in another week:)  I'll loose the first half first this go around.
