I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this complaint, however, I'm just curious if anyone else out there has experienced the same problems with branded clothing. I just spent $189.00 on branded clothing at the last quarterly. The clothing looked sharp and I wanted to sport it to show off Les Mills pride and espirt de corp!
When I got back to my gym and taught my classes, I recieved so many comments from members on how sharp the latest clothing looked. They loved the new tattoo on each shirt, as well as the new designs for Pump and colors for Combat and Step.
However, my dissappointment came after the first wash of the clothing. I washed the items according to the directions on the label and both, my new Pump and Combat tops are ruined. The stitching on the Pump shirt has come apart and the branding on the Combat shirt peeled off before it was even washed. I'm completely upset because I spent a lot of money on both articles. I would expect something like this to happen with a cheaper, generic brand; however, I do not expect this to happen with Les Mills Branded clothing. Sure, things happen, but this isn't the first time I've experienced it. Some of you may say, quit complaining and stop buying, but then how can I show off the brand and my support, which is a big deal with Les Mills.
Because I was upset, I contacted the Director of Operations of Event for my area, and was told that all sales were final and there was nothing she could do. With that said, I was even more dissappointed and why doesn't Les Mills offer a return policy? Stores like Nike and Adidas will take articles of clothing back if ruined after a first wash or even after one wear. We pay a lot of money for clothes that we sweat in and they should at least last for a quarter.
I will get off my soap box for now, but just wanted to know how others felt out there, or if they have had any bad experiences with branded products.
Thx for listening!
