    Class Participants wearing LM gear

Our club is very new to the whole LM phenomenon.  What I am curious about is...do the participants sometimes or even frequently wear LM logo wear to the classes?  It seems in the videos that many of the participants are wearing the shirts etc. but I don't know if they are instructors taking the class or simply participants who really love their chosen program.  If they do, I would like to encourage this at my club.

In the videos, anyone can attend but instructors get in free and often make the pilgirmage to LMI, hence you will see more LM clothing. The last release of DVDs were filmed at teh global summit so I think all participants were instructors.

The gear is expensive, so that is why participants don't usulally wear it. LM instructors are encouraged to look professional and support the LM brand.

I've worked in two different gyms that gave away LM t-shirts at launches as door prizes, specific to the program launch.  The people who ended up with them wear them religiously.  The t-shirts aren't nearly as expensive as the rest of the gear.  Other than that, I don't think participants go out of their way to get LM gear.  Then again, in the US we have a poor selection of clothing, and LM isn't nearly as well-known as it is in say NZ!  Tongue Tied  Going out on a limb here because I don't know if this is allowed, but it would be pretty neat if your club could sell LM clothing.  People are more likely to buy something when it's right in front of them, with no shipping charges.

Other fun ideas that would be even more affordable as door prizes would be those little arm sweatbands or other such accessories.   And,  clothing is often available on Ebay.

    Good luck to your club!

We were told at GFM that we can use any of the logos available on eClub, we just have to have the shirts printed up ourselves, and we can't sell them, but we are able to give them away as promos, door prizes, etc. It's a great cross-promotional tool for your club and your LM programming; you can combine both logos on one shirt, gym bag, or whatever your promo is.
