Yeah, I'm loving 36 too......so much so I'm actually considering doing my video on 36 rather than 35!

Now, if only I could stay to the beat with all the skipping in track 3, tidy up the full combo preview in track 4 and fix one or two things with the cool down (how good is the cool down - although I think the cool down from 34 is still my all time favourite) along with working on scripting and timing and I might just get there......

I loved release 35 and didn't think they could top it. Then came release 36...wow!

My only very minor quibble is with track 6. It just feels like the Ginga block should be longer. Don't know why they didn't keep it going for another set instead of the continuous block/punch combo which seems a little too long.

Never criticise someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. That way when you do, you´re a mile away and you have their shoes.

You mean for certification? You can send in a video on a different release then you trained on?  I don't think you can in the US.....

Yeah, looks like we can in the UK - I just checked on the FitPro site and found this:

It is advisable that you do as this is the release that you will have spent a significant amount of time learning and should be the one that you know best. If you have moved on to the next release within your 16-week period, please use the release that you feel most comfortable with, taking into consideration the Five Key Elements and areas of assessment.

There's more on UK assessment at http://www.fitpro.com/bts/certification2.cfm.

Had to catch a bus in to work earlier and was quite happily listening to 36 on the iPod but I think I started running through some of the cues - had one or two funny looks. Whoops.

    Re: BC36 - what a sensational release!!!

In the UK you can do it on the release you trained on or any after it.

However did they say anything specific on your module 2 about it?  I had heard from an assessor here in the UK they had been told you had to film your training release.

However, I don't think that is being enforced.

TBH, I think it is silly to require that. Timings of modules generally are a few weeks before next round of QW's, and clubs move on releases.  So why should newbies be expected to stick with a release for three months, even though it is likely the club has launched a new release a few weeks after their training.

    Re: BC36 - what a sensational release!!!

Weird, I replied earlier but had a message a moderator had to approve it and there's still no sign of the post - no sure what happened there. Anyway, I checked on the FitPro site under the certification FAQ's and it had this to say:

"Do I have to use the release I did my module training on?"

It is advisable that you do as this is the release that you will have spent a significant amount of time learning and should be the one that you know best. If you have moved on to the next release within your 16-week period, please use the release that you feel most comfortable with, taking into consideration the Five Key Elements and areas of assessment.

Also, when I did my module the instructor asked the group which release they were going to do their video on and one girl replied "the next one if it's easier than this one". That got a laugh.....

    Re: BC36 - what a sensational release!!!

Just launched 36, this past Friday...  a GREAT time all around!  I LOVE this release (maybe not so much love for the plyo lunges, tho Stick out tongue) and best of all, the members really like this release.  I decided I wanted to wear "the dress", and had quite a time getting that whole thing put together...  starting with ordering the wrong size from CHINA!!  Indifferent  It all came together, in the end, and it's going great.  How tremendous would it have been to be at the Global Summit?!  You can feel the energy coming thru the screen.  Definitely gonna be in NY for the Mid Atlantic and North East Q!
Feel the fear... and do it anyway.

you can use programs like Limewire, i-tunes...etc... to try and find tracks, but they will not be exactly the same as the LM versions - as they get remixed, sped up...etc... for LM
