    Re: BODYSTEP #80

Already suggested the "Fame" theme song but now with the release of the new "Fame", why not Naturi Naughton's take on the classic?

Two more additions from "Footloose" - Deniece Williams "Let's Hear It For the Boy" and the fabulous "Never" by Moving Pictures; with its essential 80's sax and synthesiser, it would make for an awesome Track 10.

    That would be so cool.

I would also love to see Invincible & Love is a Battlefield - Pat Benatar also Out of Touch - Hall and Oates :)

All the song suggestions look great - I think Micheal Jackson is a MUST. Maybe some Janet and Prince.

If possible, please don't repeat songs that were already used in previous releases for those of us that have been teaching a little longer.

Thanks and looking forward to it!

    Oooohh exciting...

I've Had the Time of My Life - Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, My Sharona - The Knack,

Mickey - Toni Basil, Hold Me Now - Thompson Twins, Kids in America - Kim Wilde, INXS - Need You Tonight,

Roxette - The Look, Jump - Pointer Sisters, Physical - Olivia Newton John, Copacabana - Barry Manilow,

Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes, Taco - Puttin on the Ritz, We Got the Beat - Go Go's,

Borderline - Madonna, Boom Boom - Paul Lekakis, Eurythmics - Here Comes the Rain Again,

Flashdance - Irene Cara, Superfreak - Rick James, West End Girls - Pet Shop Boys, Venus - Bananarama

    How Exciting!!

Use popular songs that all generations would know [even the ones born after the 80s] would be a great hit!

    Flashdance - Irene Cara,

I've Had the Time of My Life - Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes

Boni Jovi - living on a prayer [lyrics of this song would be fantastic for a peak or a strength/legs/pushup track]

    Pllleeeaaassseee :D

No, that's Love is a Contact Sport.  Love is a Battlefield is much more iconic.

Now that would be cool in a Bodystep 80's mix :)

I realize this is probably late being that Mark posted in July.  However, my all time favorite 80s song is "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves.  Looking forward to the release!

Come on - are you guys (and girls) serious?!?!?!?!

Songs like these are one of the reasons I am addicted to Body Combat and don't do Body Step much - just too girly and cheesy 'unmotivating' music.

No offence to Mark, who obviously does a fantastic job with the program, but I simply would not enjoy working out to music like this!

    Hi team!

Don't worry! I think all songs for this release will be covered / remixed / energized. No outdated originals will be used :-)

Disagree here. I reckon this will be an awesome release, and will help to appeal to a wider range of people, especially 80s tragics like myself Big Smile. Bring it on Mops!

IMO unless The 80's songs are popular well known ones today - Its going to appeal to a Narrow audience not a wider - What about those who werent around in the 80s or those who arent big fans of it..... cant "neglect" them either!

    Re: BODYSTEP #80

Generation X is a very large audience :) to be honest I would love to see a 80's artists release and step to that. That would be an awesome thing to do. I can't wait for mopps to do it and make it one awesome release. No one is being neglected you have had numerous releases of todays music in Bodystep.

Bring on an 80's Bodystep release. (and no covers please.) Mark.

    IMO!
