    Oh.

    My.

    God.

I had not realised the perils of studying so hard.

My liver is attempting to emancipate me.

However, I earned a Distinction... for my Cork Opening 101 in not only Sauv Blanc, but unwooded and wooded Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Champagne,Cabernet,Shiraz...and what appears to be a bottle of Vodka.(empty)

Well if Friday's are for funerals,
    And Saturday's for brides,
Guess I'll take Sunday as mine,
Cause on weekends I perform miracles
    I turn paycheques into wine
One working weeks' wage at a time

There were a few miracles performed this afternoon - except it was paycheques turned in to pints rather than wine. I'd crack a bottle open now but I'm finding that as much as I love alcohol it really doesn't love me as much as it used to......

    Gotta love this loony-tunes thread......

*Posters aren't interrupting the serious topics (such as "I'm doing my module training soon...")

*You realise there are others out there as warped as yourself, and...

*You can NEVER go off topic!!

I'd shorten the title to "Wanna a new horse to flog?".   Look up to see if I did.

Excuse me... May I motivate you?

That's quite some resume he has. And an interesting perchant for band names. Gotta give credit to "Beasts of Bourbon".

Off the subject of Fridays, I favour the POETS Day approach.

The only ones having a headache over at my place are our four carved pumpkins. Poor things.

Well as long as it was RPM I think we'd be OK. Any class that involved standing or, more so, co-ordinated movement would definitely be out.

Re: Anyone wanna find a new horse to flog?

Well Rick, if RPM is your chosen form of punishment you should be prepared to double a non-rider on your handlebars! You could just take the option of lying on your step doing chest presses with your legs in the air though ...just to test any theories that have been discussed on the forum. Although I do fancy the idea of Fifi swapping everyone's water bottles for wine bottles in RPM....Cool

Re: Anyone wanna find a new horse to flog?

The only problem I have had with the wine bottles in RPM is you have to put the lid back on as they only fit upside down in the bottle holder...

Major design fault by the V bike people...

Re: Anyone wanna find a new horse to flog?

We may have to invest in a few camelbacks then and play spin the bottle instead!

Re: Anyone wanna find a new horse to flog?

Haha..luckily I have one..intended for outdoor ride use..but has come in handy for those school plays/music nights when I lose the will to live...there's a few hours of my life I'll never get back...
