Our club is getting ready to launch release 12 in October. I would love to hear some of your ideas and things that have worked for you and your programs.

We have our "launch" classes on a Sunday. They are free to club members but we charge a fee ($5) for non-members. We have 3 BV teachers. This is my first launch and I'm looking forward to building some excitement for the new release. I'm lucky to have 2 seasoned teachers to help me. We could all use some good ideas.

Hi Minda,

Why not link the launch to Pink Ribbon and donate part or whole of the $5 to this organisation. Maybe that attracks more people from outside.

Or start now by handing out in yr club BV cards you get  stamped for every class you do ahead of the launch  for a free Pink Ribbon bracelet or what have you, which is only given on the day of the launch. This is also in line with the LM activity for *** cancer.

And than ofcourse dress yrselves up in Pink or like Pink!

Great idea! Unfortunetly our club fees have to stay in the club. We can not offer free classes of any kind. (very frustrating!) I love the pink idea and the braclets. I'll check into it. Great cause.

I think a lot of instructors are going to go with the Rock Star theme for this launch. Think: Bon Jovi (shaggy wig;headband;tight jeans (which may reduce the depth of your squats!) etc...You could have a competition for the best dressed (or best air-guitar impression!)

Great idea too, especially when yr club would like to keep it in house.

An award like a certificate of the `greatest look a like` and a post on the club´s site with pictures or even a short clip of the class could be great too.

Love the rock star idea! I don't know if I can squat in tight jeans... Nobody wants to see that!

I might use my boys guitar hero quitars as props. I can't use any lighters. I don't want the sprinklers in the club to go off!
