We just launched Body Vive 12 last weekend here in Wisconsin. It was awesome! We had an okay turnout of 17. That was just as well as we only have enough equipment for 19 plus the 3 BV teachers. Had 4 BV virgins in class so it was all worth it to bring them into the fold. Two of them came to Monday nights class. We love BV converts.
One of the other Vive teachers works for Jockey and was able to get us matching purple tops and grey pants. We were the power of purple! Jockey donated purple shirts to give away in raffle. Everyone loves free stuff.
This was my first launch and so much fun. I goofed a little in strength 1 during the biceps work. Lost track of reps, but kept going with a smile and both handles the whole time! The swan stretch at the begining of track 12 kills my bad knee. I showed a modification with the knee bent to the side instead of straight back (90 degree angles). That went over well with the others who have knee issues.
We did a little advertising with the dark chocolate Hershey Kisses. They are wrapped in purple. I attached a little slip of paper (purple of course) with the date and time of launch. These were a big hit, especially with my three teenage boys at home who kept eating them while they helped me glue the paper on.
I would love to hear about your experiences with the new release. Thanks Paul T for sharing you first launch experience on this blog. Congrats to your success!!
Keep on Viving,
Minda
