    BS #77 Speed Track

Hey fellow Bodysteppers!  Wondering about speed track on this latest release.....to me, on the video it kind of looks like more of a kick at an angle; some fellow instructors think it's more of a side leg.  So I've watched it several times now, and I still can't make up my mind!  In  the book, Mark looks like he is definitely doing a side leg.  But then why do they call it a kick?    Just wondering what other instructors are doing!  Thanks!

My instructor has been doing a side leg extension which works fluidly with the hop and the "sunshine" arms so I can't imagine it being an angled kick.

ive been doing a leg lift/extension when i teach.

Althou i can see how u can see it looks like a side kick because  when you hop onto the step to extend the leg, the motion is like a "kick" coming from the back forward.

I've been doing a side leg only because it reminds of a similar move in Jam about 2 releases ago.

I look at it as a very 'showtime/broadway' kinda move especially when you put the arms in.

When I try to do a kick it ends up being very awkard, but a leg lift to the side is much more natural.
