I have to agree with marty here. Otherwise really good release but tracks 1 and 2 were a little bit boring, although I liked the fast arms in t2.

    Re: BodyAttack 60

I agree on both sides, the first 4 tracks of BA60 are terrific! You really let all the energy out, and also track 5 is not as 'boring' as push ups can be sometimes.... Though I like the running track, I think they could have done more w/ track 7 and 8, didn't get to track 9 yet :P I really dislike the last few tracks though, there's just a bit of easy flow in there that I don't like, can't please everyone I know, but the last (cooldown) track I think should have been something more 'celebrating' to continue the good stuff of this release. We're launching march 31st in the club, I'm so excited to see what the people think of it. And, the best part of it -> Karin! The blond dutch girl on the DVD :P She was on the 1/4 also, she just rocks! From this side, Props for Karin! ;)

I was so jazzed about the remix of the Wham! song (Freedom) that I dug out my wham t-shirts for the launch (yeah, I still have them - better yet, they're the old style "muscle shirts").

But what is with all the running in track two? even adding the arm movements - its still just running F- B - OTS....where's the "mixed" impact - except a few step curls....could of been better I think

ah yep you have hit the nail on the head on that one!...could have been more creative eh?  somehow there needs to be a cycling in of some new moves for track 1 and 2....you see the same ole walk forward and back.....or in this case run forward and back....repeaters.....etc.   granted it is a warmup , track 1, and leading up to mixed impact in 2...but a bit more vision here would be a breath of fresh air.

    LuLu:
I did BA 60 for the first time today - and yes.....it was intense, no problems with that, but oh...the music, I've been doing BA for over 2 years now and I have to say that this is really the most unappealing soundtrack ever. I'm very disappointed. Nothing uplifting, inspirational - nothing of the calibre of "Kiss the Sky', 'Everytime We Touch' or that 'Fly' song. Nothing that really made me want to move. It all sounded the same - just boring.

Interesting.  I'm just an occasional participant in BA, but this is also the feedback we have had, from our members, to BA60.  BA59 packed them in but the comment "this music isn't very inspiring" has been heard more than once with regards to BA60.  It's also interesting that the instructors teaching BA60 have seen their numbers drop, but the lazy instructor still teaching BA59 still has full classes.   That hardly seems fair.  Strange how things work so different for different clubs eh?

On a positive note, the feedback for Track 8 (BA60) is very goodCool

How funny. We have had the opposite reaction. We all love it & so do the participants! I think this is a great release with a real opportunity to have some serious fun with your members. I guess we can't all love the same stufff huh???

    Re: BodyAttack 60

I so agree with you. skyguy, I have been doing attack for ten years and while I don't always like everything this is the first time I have disliked so much. We are mixing in Perth, thank goodness, but allot of instructors are using it.....Each to their own....The only tracks I can tolerate is the running track, final power and leg conditioning. I particularly dislike track 2,3,4 and 7. I have even tried different instructors, which makes a bit of difference but I am still not sold...On the flipside BC35 was so great, I find myself missing it now that the mixing is on, I hear BA61 and BC36 and BP66 are great, I hope I agree too!!!!

    Re: BodyAttack 60

Personally, I think the music in BA60 is AWESOME!! I get such a high from it, and I've noticed it in my participants too. The only track I really dislike is track 7... too much switching!

    Re: BodyAttack 60

this release was great except the agility track really does not appeal to most of the attackers in my club...they dont like the constant switching back and forth. It gets to be a bit much...I love the rest of it though and love the plyometric track!

    Re: BodyAttack 60

I LOVE this release! I think it's energetic, inspiring and love all the music. Usually am not too keen on the running tracks, but Wham makes this one great. And I love track 7, it's so funky and fun! My participants seem to love it too, but that could just be my enthusiasm rubbing off, want to teach this one for ages and not looking forward to having to swap out tracks.

Personally - I think this one is right on the nose!
