    Bodyjam 45 Sizzler

BODYJAM 45 features a bunch of wicked styles kicked off with an amazing Warmup Track - the Freemasons' 9-minute remix of Kelly Rowland's Work. This sets the scene for a monumental release. The track moves seamlessly bouncin' from Club to Hip Hop, finishing on a massive club high.

The brand new Roppongi Line Dance comes all the way from Tokyo. Created at 4am in party mad Roppongi, it's Line Dancing BODYJAM styles! A thumping track from Janet Jackson takes you into the Hip Hop block that'll get the flava bouncing in your club as you recreate that Velvet Rope-Dancer feel.

Contemporary Rock is back, this time with a harder, edgier sound from Rage Against The Machine and The Prodigy. This will stimulate your senses, ignite your inner dance and challenge your perceptions of what can be achieved in a group fitness class. You'll wanna throw yourself into the Butterfly Jump which may just be the most beautiful jump ever seen in BODYJAM.

Recover to the beautiful R'n'B track by The Dream before sounds from all around the world (Paris, Miami, Sweden and Germany) transport us into Global Electro. The stepping 70s' Disco style of Jocelyn Brown provides the perfect Groove Down for BODYJAM 45 - coming at ya from the Les Mills Global Summit.

thanks for the sizzler! Sounds different and cool. Line dancing sounds scary, but I'll research the scene in Roppongi.

And more rock! Looking forward to it already...

I've seen the butterfly jump, and what can I say... you need to have a strong core AND a strong stomach for it. Indifferent

I can't imagine too many being able to perform the butterfly jump! Great music, choreography very similar to 44 just more upbeat and higher impact. I guess it's more challenging than 44, would like to see more salsa or cha cha moves sometime though.

OK, now I am really curious about this jump. Can someone please describe it for me ,or provide a link to an example of someone executing said jump?

    Re: Bodyjam 45 Sizzler

did the workshop for 45 last week in sydney. trying to explain the butterfly is tricky bit do you rmember the leap forward turn in the track excalibur? imagine that but as u turn your back to the class you extend your legs so they kick almost horizontal to floor. the chore notes emphasize the jump as being down up as u swoop your chest down to the knees to get the propulsion. i haven't tried it yet as it requires loads of space. will have a go at the gym on sunday. The set up is a chasse arms up hgh above the head ready ro swoop down.

Excalibur was in BJ28, back in the days of single track format.I can't think of anything similar to the butterfly in curent material; it will be something for you guys on the other side of the pond to look forward to.

    Re: Bodyjam 45 Sizzler

@ Lee99: This one is not as 'easy' as 44. It's still not a free-style class of course. Personally I love it! But that's different per person I think.

But I was wondering... where can I buy those hot black tops/skirts (with the gold under the skirts) that Rach and Kili are wearing @ the DVD?
