    LM NZ Clothing

I recently tried to order several items from the Les Mills New Zealand clothing line and to my disappointment found out that they are no longer allowed to ship items to the USA. Very, very disappointing. I don't know if it is something that was done in an attempt to boost sales of the LM USA clothing line (that's my gut feeling.) Although the New Zealand line is more expensive, the quality is much better and the selection is better as well. (That's no real feat though considering the USA line has had the same extremely limited selection for a year and a half.) No fair! Guess that's what I get for planning to put my "economic stimulus refund" into the New Zealand economy............... I still want my shiny gold Attack top. I had our next launch themed out and planned, now we'll have to buy gold from another company.

    Re: LM NZ Clothing

I had the same experience - I sat for three hours deciding where to spend $700 to buy new clothes for my classes that I teach.  After picking sizes and putting together outfits online, I placed my order (so, I thought).  I received an email stating that they are no longer able to ship to the USA... something about losing their shipping rights.  I contacted lesmills.com to inquire about new clothes and was informed they will have new clothes in the "near future".  I feel like Pretty Woman when she went to Beverly Hills and was told she wasn't going to be helped with her purchases.... her response was that she had money to spend.  So, if you find out anything, please let me know too....

    THANKS!

Yeah same thing here.  I had ordered in the past, so here I was placing a new order to later receive an e mail stating they can no longer ship to the US any logo programed merchandise, but I can order the plain stuff...ha!! It's a shame really.  I try ordering from the Australian site, and that was a nightmare...I ended up getting someone else's order, had to ship it back to them and then get my stuff which I was not very thrilled with...bah!  I take pride in being a LM instructor and I want to wear clothing with our program logos...not the "plain" stuff.

"Near future"? Does no good in the here and now. =\ It's all really frustrating and disappointing. I was told by someone that the only way around the shipping issue is to ship the LM NZ items to someone in another country and have them ship to you. Only person I know in a foreign country is an ex-boyfriend. I really want those items, so I emailed him -- no response though.

    Re: LM NZ Clothing

Yes, the free shipping is a good deal. If you don't want $250 NZ dollars worth of stuff---just ask some fellow instructors if they want anything---then you can bundle your order together and get the free shipping.

    Re: LM NZ Clothing

    OK, I'll check it out.

But why all the sizes for men are *big*?  Or, I am Taiwanese so I am "out of range".  I am 177cm, 65kg tnough.

And, I did look and there is only one pants for men?!  The Seal one, which actually looks like a jean, is it good for Body Balance class with lots of extension and stretches?  Any body got any *pants-on* experiences?

Why all the dresses for women are so pretty?  And so little selections for men?  Not fair!

    envying girls,

    -CC.,

ps. Any used one for sale?

    Re: LM NZ Clothing

Interesting, we read all about les mills being one tribe across the world, but..... not when it comes to us all wearing the same clothing. I cannot see why LMI doesn't sort out a clothing line and make it available to all in the respective countries and sinsible prices. That way when we do launches as I have been doing over the last two weeks I won't be the only instructor wearing any logo'd clothing.

What a bad decision: LM NZ Clothing

I think the decision to ban U.S. Les Mills instructors from purchasing from the NZ clothing store was abysmal and taken without any input or consideration for the American Les Mills market. Here's why:

    1. In an era of global trade, why are we being forced to spend our hard-earned dollars in places where we don't want to spend them (i.e. the USA Les Mills store). Isn't this a violation of the free trade principle?

    2. The variety at the USA store is terrible and it never gets any better. Take one quick look at the NZ store and compare it to the U.S. one. That's just it: there IS no comparison. Haven't we had enough of black and white clothing? Why can't the U.S. introduce more color? And why are we stuck with the same old styles over and over again?

    3. What is the problem with U.S. sizing? A "medium" is like an "X-large" anywhere else in the world. I recently had to return every single top I regretfully ordered from the U.S. site because they were hanging off my shoulders and waist. Yet a "medium" top from the NZ store fit perfectly.

    4. Any time I've tried to order a small or X-small from the U.S. store I've been told they are "out of stock". Their warehousing methods are atrocious.

I will NOT buy from the Les Mills U.S.A. site again. Give us back our right to spend our money how and where we want to. Are the powers that be listening????

Re: What a bad decision: LM NZ Clothing

Guys, I was talking to my China men who are now newest branches of LMI.

Thinking about starting a brand new store of poeple like us, in need of good quality and reasonably priced clothes.

I'll name it:  nu LMI- Less Mills Intergalatical.

Anyone want to be my partner?

Ha, ha, ha.  Let's make sure competitive market exist to drive for cost-price performance.
