Well, I have taped my class 3 times now (BB40) and every time I make a different mistake!! So frustrating. My latest taping was definitely my best so far but I made 2 chorey mistakes. In the sun sals I stepped the wrong leg forward in one sequence. In the first abdominal track I stopped cycling too soon but immediately realised my mistake so told the class to "keep going". Other than that I was happy with how it went.

Should I tape again? I am so cross with myself - I KNOW the chorey, I just stuffed it on the night :( :(

Also, can anyone tell me where I can find the self assessment forms you need to send in with your video on the net? I have the ones in my manual but would like to print out fresh ones.

I guess the video camera won't be able to be packed away just yet

They will not fail you for a couple of corry mistakes - maybe a slight reduction in marks. If you are happy with your cues and tech then note the mistakes on the self assessment and get it sent in.

I think they say the mistake must not exceed 16 counts... or something like that.

Just get it over and done with... I did it once, quickly watched it and lodged it... and passed :)

THE NEW MORE POWERFUL ME!

Thanks guys! I did video again today and had a really great class. There are probably a few minor timing issues but I know my chorey was 100% today. The ladies in the class really enjoyed it and so did I!! So this is the one, it is going in!!

I am so relieved to now be able to learn another release, I am a bit over BB40 now! I am going to do 27 until the new chorey comes out. I am really enjoying this one too. The music is awesome!

 You can never tape too much. It's such a great learning experience to watch yourself, it's not just about getting the paper! (Though that's nice too!)

Thanks Marian! I hear what you are saying about the learning experience. Over the last 2 weeks I have taped myself 4 times and have really evolved a lot from looking and listening to myself. There were a few things I was doing that I was totally unaware of! There are also things from a technical standpoint that I thought I was doing but I wasn't!

I am thinking it would be good to tape myself again in a few months time to see how I have progressed. It sure will be nice to get the piece of paper though! Here's hoping what I did was enough :)
