    BP 66 music anyone?

So it seems I'm the biggest geek on this site but I went to the Quarterly this morning here in Sydney and I LOVE the music from 66.  I can't comment just yet on the choreography as I've only done it once but the music is unbelievable.  And can I just say that FINALLY we have a fantastic warm up, the song is the best in ages.

I'm so  excited I can't wait until we can launch it here in Sydney...  For those of you that get it later, it's sooo worth the wait.

    Anyone else have any thoughts??

Good job Glen this one is absolutely amazing.

    Geez a whole 7 weeks ahead :0...

from what i read on the sizzler music sounds awesome and my kinda stuff and the sizzler also drops some moves in which sound wicked ..

As i couldnt attend the 1/4ilies for pump this time cause of my knee i wasnt feeling 65 as much but do like it and enjoy teaching it.. i love the music i love the challenges and love the groans from the lunges :)

But must admit the sizzler got me going for 66 and i cant wait to see it..

but wouldnt wanna know all the details just yet..as i havent even startd mixing let a lone a new release :0 i tend to do pump alot longer than combat usually 6-8 weeks to get all the benefits from it any less and i think personally u and ur members wont get what comes out the release ..no change is mad in two weeks..

For those who haven't seen it, here is the Sizzler:

    Transform yourself with BODYPUMP® 66.

This release delivers a challenging workout with some tough sequences and functional innovations. Body-weight exercises are a focus and they bring intensity by increasing the recruitment of stabilizers and the power muscle groups. So watch out for Pushups in the Chest and Shoulders Tracks, dips in the Triceps, Stepping Lunges on the bench and the Side Plank Roll in the Abdominals Track. This move challenges the core and shoulder stabilizers and really hits the obliques — hard! The Modified Arnold Press is put into reverse for a new combination in the Shoulders Track. Working both ways gives the shoulders a complete workout, mixing the direction of eccentric and concentric phases of training. And it’s tough — great for really isolating and chiseling the shoulders into shape.

The music is huge! Be motivated by some big powerful songs from Technotronic and Cascada, sing along to On Your Way To The Disco and Show Me Heaven and enjoy remixes of the huge Rock songs Time After Time and Livin’ On A Prayer.

BODYPUMP® 66 is a truly memorable group fitness experience. Kia Kaha, stand strong.

I'm looking foward to it too. but still really like 65.

    Re: BP 66 music anyone?

mm lets see.  Some recent faves were most of 63 and parts of 65.  From the 50's I loved 56 and the beginning of 58. 59 was pretty good as well.

It's more about individual songs than a whole release.  I like 66 cause it has a mix of recognizable songs and some good tunes to pump away to.  The warm up is fantastic and we haven't had a real uplifting one in a while.  There are also a lot of bodyweight exercises and a couple of innovations that will be challenging.

I think it's going to be a big hit with everyone!!!

We just started BP65 and it includes most of what you refer to as BP66?  Did you mean BP66, or was it a typo?

No,no typo, I'd say just curious as here in Sydney Australia we have had our 2nd quarterly and our gym is releasing the first 6 tracks of BP66 today, (Monday, 28 April), also BS72 and BB41.

Wouldn't be fair to list the tracklist yet as so many countries are just releasing BP65, let them enjoy that first then in time, not too long away the tracklist will be on this and other sites.

     Happy Pumping!

No not really sleepy backwater Adelaide, you guys often get releases before us, it's only  because the biggest Australian Fitness Expo, Filex 08, was on and LMAP bring out our 2nd quarterly early to be part of it.  Guess we're just lucky this time of the year, heheYesBig Smile

     Happy Pumping!

    Google is your friend.

I've checked out the listing and the release is mostly dance tracks which suits me better than the recent penchant for hip-hop and rap tracks. Having said that I think they've murdered Livin' on a Prayer with that cheesy remix. The original would have worked much better for chest IMHO.
