    licence pending

    hi all,

I was shocked that my assessment came back with tick on the "pending licence" box Surprise

I had to read it several times, then I started checking things. I had a copy of my assessment DVD and now I had the chance to check all the points in the evaluation. The things noted were: ankles, too relaxed arms, clappings on chest level instead of waist hight and in starting posture too wide stance and in track 8 (of 59) too narrow when jumping forward. ARGH....what minor details... but of course I understand that this is actually quality control and it should be done the same way in every place where attack classes are given. Ok, I don't have to send another DVD, my boss just checks that my toes are pointing and my arms are strong etc etc.... But still I feel really frustrated since I've been giving classes for 2 months now and participants keep coming back, the place is crowded Big Smile

One thing which was relevant was the energy level on tracks 4 and 9. In the base training I was told about the same thing, I was feeling the exhaustion and that was actually the same feeling in the DVD. But now, after doing the classes longer, I have noticed that I'm now in much better shape than 2 months ago, so Body Attack is working as promised!!!

Did you all get your licence without problems?

I have to revideo for attack for most of the same reasons, toes weren't pointed, abs need to be kept in, keep the posture, etc. I think attack is one of the hardest videos to pass, I really don't think the participants notice if our toes are pointed or not, but I guess its all about the athletic feel of the program.

oh man. I am getting ready to film my video for 59 and I'm a tad nervous. I'm going to try to remember everything you have both said here! As for the license pending, it sounds like things you can easily fix once you know to watch for them...

     good luck!!!

    Re: licence pending

jep, the comments were just, except one of them. In track 9 when the 4 heels-to-buttock (what is the move called in English...) changes to 4 knee-lifts, there I had a comment that my feet are too wide apart and my lift is "pointed" too much to the side, it should be straight forward and feet should be only hip width apart. Well, the guy in the DVD does the movement exactly like that. Yeah, Lisa does the knee-lift as in my comment, feet hip widtht apart, knees pointed forward, not to he sides but hey, who should we follow, the person giving the instructions or Lisa in the background? Should we guess the correct way or just pick the one which suits best? And in the instructions it's not said how it should be done.

oh well, I changed my knee-lift to what they asked and pointed my toes and strenghtened my arms etc etc. My boss says the class looked perfect so I suppose I am going to get the licence after all Smile
