Eh? The new Attack has You can't stop the beat in it too (body combat 35)!?! same hapenned with thanks for the mmrs(bc34)... and its very confusing. but i really think I'll be sick of the hairspray song after 3 months of listening to it in combat!

Its a fun release, track 4 is an awesome lunge/leg workout...real nice rythem to keep you lunging hard to the end, and the last cardio track is tough, a lot of 3 step ice skaters and vertical jumps..... really gets the heart rate up and a you get good burn.

So, again something to look forward to. Glad about the ice skaters, love that movement in any combination. And nice to know that track 4 is, as always, a killer one. What about the music? Apart from the, above-mentioned, Hairspray track...

    smiles,

    Re: Bodyattack 61

Just got back from a UK fitness weekender where the presenter dropped in Hairspray from Attack 61. Its the same mix as combat and has ponies and jumps side to side in it. I know alot of my class will moan big time about this they weren't fans of Hairspray in combat but got to love it as I went mad and put lots of performance into it, hard to know how to spice this up and they will have hardly got over it in combat.

    Re: Bodyattack 61

really enjoy this release! Did it at the Sydney Super workshop, so lots of great atmosphere, the music has grown on me now I can finally hear it properly (it always sounds different at workshops!)

Just wondering, for those who have seen the DVD, does track 9 seem off beat to you? Someone told me they were told that LMI incorrectly dubbed the music over the top of the presentation, so it looks like the whole track is done off the beat. But I've tried doing the track off beat and run out of music haha. All the moves and music fit fine on the beat, so I'm hoping (and assuming) the DVD is just wrong because of this engineering error? Could someone from LMI please clarify this for me, I know a few people are quite confused? Thanks in advance!

Really like it.  I think B Attack selects much better music than B Pump.  Seem to be getting it right at the moment.  Love the classic tracks like We Belong.

    Re: Bodyattack 61

I am someone who is just trying out les mills to see if it is worth the expense so went to a launch at lower hutt on the weekend and it seemed the same to me as Bodyattack 60 they were doing at wellington extreme, or have they already got the new choreography? Or is it only the music that changes?

61 is sooooo much more of an improvement over 60 it is not even close!  ...well except for the hairspray track.CHEESY with a capital C!

    Re: Bodyattack 61

But I thought cheesy/corny was the very ingredient that makes attack such fun. Its very foundation is the old fashioned grapevines and leg warmer/ G-string leotard, aerobics.....

The cheese is the part of Jam where you catch yourself in the mirror, thinking the move was executed to perfection when in reality it was a very sad representation of that. Then in Jam as in attack you get to have an internal laugh at your own humanity.

To me it is really the same as children playing not caring about anyone else.... We get to do that to music and pre-set moves...

It truely is one of the most fun things to do with clothes on!

To me BA 60 was a small hit enabling a fast run to first, BA 61 is a home run, undoubtedly...

    Re: Bodyattack 61

today is my first BA in 6 weeks!!! And my first time with BA61 as well! I find 61 to be much more interesting than 60, I hope my class feels the same.

Somehow I felt that the DVD was full of discrepancies to instructions notes. Have you noticed anything similar or am I just imagining things?

That is it exactly! If you can have your class laughing, groaning at what you are singing/saying/ & finding themselves singing along all while forgetting that they are doing high knee runs.....well that is what it is all about! I love it!
