I guess it would be nice to have another cardio track, but then, what would you leave out?
Obviously at the moment there's more "heart fitness" than "functional strength" or "core and restore", so that would mean reducing either of these further...
I guess if the balance/leg strength track had a few more squats/lunges with balance work at the end of the track it could lower the heart rate in the way the tai chi and yoga track is meant to, so you could lose that...
From there you could move into the functional strength tracks, starting with hips followed by upper body...
Maybe then you could have a brief Tai Chi/Yoga track to calm every one down and transition to the floor for the final section. Abs and Back could be combined into a longer "core" track before the final Release and Restore track...
If sticking with the 12 track format, this would give you 6 cardio tracks, 3 functional strength and 3 core and restore and each type of track would be together rather than the tai chi/yoga track being stuck in the middle...
I guess only time will tell, the program is still young and finding it's feet and it's market, so we'll all just have to wait and see...
But for now, all I know is that I and my participants love it, so Susan and the team are doing a pretty good job!
