I'm fairly new to BodyCombat and I've been loving my Body Combat classes 3 x per week for the last few months. Only problem is that I've noticed an impact on my knees. The floor we use is a wooden sprung floor.

I'm interested in knowing which shoes you all recommend for providing shock absorption/cushioning of the knees. I'm happy to spend $ on a decent pair.

I have been using new balance no 621 they are a cross trainer and have been great, my knees seem to cope a whole lot better,also years of netball ankles can give me a bit of grief ,these shoes have really been good into my 4th pair.

i used to find (especially with jumpkicks) that my knees were really painful after combat, i wear nike shox and i find that they do reduce the impact on your knees

Perhaps we could get D&R to introduce a special Cattle Prod move into combat. It could be part of a special Gangster Fight release - and in addition to the Cattle Prod there could be a knee capping move and a bash on the back of the head...............

There is a search facility, but people don't usually use tags, so it doesn't work.

I've been invisible for a while - profile got deleted, so I'm back and 'friendless' with a post-count of about zero - so hello again everyone.

And of course even if you did find the post for the poster, prodded then and then were nice and tried to give them a link to the post -- it would take 8 flipping days for your post to show up because it had a link in it

I just found that out too, tried to post a link to the Bodysystems Mexico gatorade competition for you guys to check out and the post was sucked up by the moderator. Maybe it will be posted before its over..
