Slimming Down

    Slimming Down

    I have a participant who wants to "slim down" his legs... Now, this guy is very fit and pure muscle (college fb player), but he has a modeling gig where his agent asked him if he could lose some bulk in the thighs.  He asked me the best way to do this... I asked if he power-lifted, and he said no, but that he ran a lot.  He asked me if doing a leg workout with high reps/low weight (Pump) would achieve this goal. I told him that for sure it will tone up his muscles, but as far as slimming them down... I'm inclined to think not... Is this just his body type and build? Any ideas for helping him out?

    No easy answer there.  Running and Pump should do the trick.  But if I really had to do one for that effect, it would be running.  And not shoter distances for speed, I'd be going more for distance and time.  Then again, diet and body type will play into it as well.
