Who learns PUMP in their car?

Hi, I was wondering if you guys learn Pump , or other programs, while driving around? I'm always expecting to see other instructors after the quarterlies doing bicep curls while driving like I do. Embarrassed People must wonder what on earth I'm doing!! Big Smile Is anyone else with me on this?

    Meg.

I actually prefer the comfort of my bed.  I'm so glad the ipod is backlit!  Unfortunately I usually don't make it much further than the end of the squat track.... zzzzzz

Good to know I'm not the only one.  I also practice my verbal cues for Pump and  Step while I'm driving.  I was waiting at a stop light next to a bus and listening to the newest step release...and playing air guitar while calling out my cues.

The bus driver must have thought I was mad.

not in the car, but learned a squat track on a train once. was a bit hard with the carriage swaying and people staring at me all weird.

I'm like, what? haven't you ever seen someone do squats before?

I learn mine on the train on the way to my day job - I get an hour door to door which works out nicely.

Car is a great place to learn it!! I have 40 min to work and back, so 80 mins well spent...I'm travelling with my boyfriend though, and he makes his own moves after couple journeys....I do the bicep curls and even try to squat a bitBig Smile Good fun!!

My favorite is doing the clean and press while I'm driving.  That's a fun one!

Re: Who learns PUMP in their car?

lol I don't actually do the physical movements in the car..........but learning chorrey while I'm driving is my usual way of doing it.

Finding it a bit hard these days though, now I have attack aswell as my 4th program, chorrey learning is a bit difficult for me so the car isn't working quite as well for me. Means I actually have to practise in my loungeroom a bit these days.

I wanna get a video ipod though, so I can actually hear the presenters cues instead of trying to look at my notes ...........especially for balance and attack. Attack notes I'm not used to yet, and balance notes just don't make much sense anymore (L hand overhead, R hand slides from L shoulder to R knee of L foot, L arm follows R..........ahhhhh whatever).

    lol

LOL Mel,  totally with you there on the balance notes!!

I am guilty of learning attack, pump and balance in car, but like Mel I dont physically do the moves!!Tongue Tied could cause some nasty accidents there!!! i may slip in the odd bicep curl and nod my head in time to the counts etc !!

Re: Who learns PUMP in their car?

LOL!!!! Balance notes are a bit like a game of Twister sometimes aren't they! Big Smile

I'll be driving around Sydney looking out for any of you who live here after the Quarterlies which are coming up soon, YAY! I always get really excited and then realise it just means heaps of work learning everything, aaagh! Huh?

Anyway, I know I'm really normal now, at least as normal as all of you! Wink

It's nice to know I am not the only one. People must look in my car and think I am retarded.

I thought I was the only one who did that and now that I read this, I'm relieved to know we are all on the same page.

I also practice in the shower and tanning bed...LOL.
