    turnitup59:

Track 5 - Fantastic. 104 push-up fairly easy to get through given the right coaching

     Turnitup,

What kind of right coaching does your instructor give you so the 104 would feel fairly easy?? Surprise

    Re: BodyAttack66 - comments?

If you break the push ups in to chunks e.g. The first chunk is 4 sets of 4. Count the first 4 - it goes very quick, then go through the various options with each set. Saying things like half way, only 4 to go will help your team through the sets. The second set is coached in a similar vein, the sets stay the same (4), the reps increase to 7.

You get a nice big break with the pointer before beginning again with the chest press.

Keep in mind that the tricep sets take you almost half way - 44. The chest presses take you 88 and the final 16 - that's just about driving home with encouragement, motivation and praise!.

    Thanks for these tips, turnitup

It's not on the DVD. It's practically the same chore as the "I kissed A girl" just a different song.

I very much agree with turnitup59's assessement. However:

Track 6: Am I the only one who likes this one? True, the moves are pretty standard, but we had a blast with it here :-)

Track 7: Tougher than regular 7s, with little time to recover for the last two tracks (I love it however - bring your own gun!)

Track 9: Really tough, the choreo is good enough, but many of my regulars hate the song (and thats a first time for them). Too messy?

Track 10a: Whats up with the fadeout?! Didn't they have time to finish it?

Track 11: I don't care much for this... but, what're u gonna do?

    Keep on attackin' y'all!

I like this release.  Great music, and tougher than 65. Those lunges in track 9... evil!

    Re: BodyAttack66 - comments?

We just launched this past weekend.  member comments....hard but anti-climactic.  I'd have to say I agree.  track 9 seems to be hard just to be hard - otherwise somewhat discombobulated - not good music - no easy 32 count choreo.  BPM seems really really high.  like on the diamond jacks it seems to be impossible to options because it is so fast.  Me personally I like the diamond jacks - but I like to be able to show my members the options.  Same with the plyo track - no real option for the 4 turning lunge - no jump option.  In practice my co-teacher & I tried a step knee - step knee turn but it doesn't flow as well.  Running track - pretty blah to me - I don't know the original song so that doesn't bug me.  Same issue w/ 7 as 9 - sorta all over on the counts & choreo - I think they could have done better than that - jog - bounce - pony -  skate power skate stuff.

But as always - I will live it & teach it the next few weeks & I'm sure it will grow on me!

    Re: BodyAttack66 - comments?

I really like track 3 and 4 in BA 65 and... I must say I didn't think track 4 can get any tougher. I was wrong. It certainly isn't easy in BA 66. Track 3 is fun as well.

I absolutely HATE track 6, simply because of the music. Why oh why????? One of the worst songs ever to be created on planet Earth.

I like the music choice for track8 (I kissed a girl) which makes everything more enjoyable, though the moves are quite good as well. Loving track 9 mostly cause it is tough. The tuck jumps are... not the easiest move. :-)

    enjoy attack 66!

    Re: BodyAttack66 - comments?

I love track 9, I think the song is great and I do like the tuck jumps although the changes are quite fast and I agree about finding it hard to show options on the diamond jacks.  I also like the agility track although the rhythm combo is a little too fast, probably 16ct per move would have been better.

Plyo track is tough and there isn't really an option for the lunge square - I tried it at the workshop cos I didn't feel too great and it just didn't work, although I saw one of my members do it and she didn't seem to have any probs...

I like the press up track but I don't like the other conditioning tracks and I *hate* the stretches, although Bevan really made me laugh when he did them on the dvd Big Smile

    Re: BodyAttack66 - comments?

I sounded pretty negative on my last post - so let me also say - I do really like 1 - 3 - 3 especially! I always have fun w/ crossovers & double knee behind - I love to bulid & "let it go" on that section.

I like the cool down & it seems as if Bevan REALLY likes it (see my other posts regarding my love of Bevan!)  glad to hear someone else smiles w/ him!

hehe, don't believe I've ever seen/heard any one use that adjective in a sentence before. Most people would have opted for confused Wink

    Re: BodyAttack66 - comments?

I really, really like this release - out of all the ongoing LMI releases it's my favourite. T9 feels a bit rushed, though. The pieces don't seem to click together. T5 - not too crazy about the pointers, too many of them, and the move itself feels kind of pointless. T7 could use a little less skaters, too. But other than that, a great release. Big Smile
