    tuck skip?

Hi! A question for instructors, please. I'm learning 29/track 5 to team teach with a friend so I have the notes and music...no dvd with me. There's a move called a "tuck skip"...done after a single body rip and before an 8-count skip...what is a tuck skip? Thanks!

If it is Wasabi, I think what you do is run forward, do a body rip followed by a tuck jump, and then skip back

This is a brilliant track. Not everyone will survive to the end. The whole release is really fast... Love it

    Re: tuck skip?

Thanks! That's good to hear! We've not done this release at our club ever (started with 33) and I've brought 27, 30, and 31 into the mix, and decided to give this one a shot. So far I'm liking everything I've run thru on this release, but it's good to hear from a participant that they like it.

Ahhhh, call me insane but I really liked that track even as a participant.....killer on the legs though. Couldn't believe it when someone listed as one of their most hated tracks on another thread around here somewhere.

If you're doing 29 then Vogue is quite a good track 6 too......

    Re: tuck skip?

After the first round of jabs forward body rip tuck skip there's a bang as if someone's hit a drum or whatever I usually ask one of my participants to come a bit closer to the stage right before that part and pretend to hit that drum on their head. during round two i make them pretend to go for my head they love that! : )

    Re: tuck skip?

Another option we use is to make the big bang sound into a gong. You get everyone to hold there hand out and iam to hit the gong. Just another fun option
