    Smile [:)] BB 46 Reflections

BB 46 is the most challenging BB releaseI did so far... really good one , love abs track with Jennifer Hudson Spotlight, Tai Chi warm up is great beginning to new release and get u set for controlled breathing from the beginning. Definitely challenging stretches and moves in  yoga standing strength. Well done Jackie Mills and the team!

I am not a teacher but i have been doing Body balance for 3 years and just love it.At our gym, it isn't very popular. I find I love all of it except for the tai chi, i must be dyslexic because i get all muddled up with arms and legs. Most of the class and instructors agree that it is hard to pick up. It is a great release though..

Hmm... we are all share valid opinions.  When I was filling out the BLAH the other week, before I mixed out, I ranked this one quite poorly.  I don't think this will be a release that I will revisit as a whole... maybe one or two of the tracks but it will be mostly forgotten by me.  Good, but not memorable by any means.

    Re: BB 46 Reflections

I agree, this is a physically challenge release and I love it!  In the video, during Tai Chi track, Yousef places focus on the feet which I too, had a very difficult time getting the moves right.  However, when I was looking closely at the hand/arm movements (feet would naturally follow), it became much easier for me to learn and get it right.

46 is a good release, not outstanding like Bodybalance 23, 25 and 26 but a good release. The last 1/2 is excellent and track 5 is outstanding.

Coming soon a new concept no one has ever done before and it has been in the planning for the past 4 years.

Completely disagree - BB46 is an outstanding release that flows from start to finish. It's challenging and easy to get lost in the music and the moves... a truly wonderful release!

    Re: BB 46 Reflections

Hi ck1 this is lifted from my website on Bodybalance 46:

Track one (Delerium) - Lost & Found

Strong athletic moves 7 short sequenced poses. Blocks are back in this track strong martial arts feel to the release. You will love this track very sensual in parts.

    Track 2 (Delerium) - Serenity

The longest sun-salutation ever to me. Two part sun salutations. There is a surprise in this track. Must remember to breathe :) when you get into the flow of this track it is simple to follow, you need to remember the sequences. Have fun with this track.

Track 3 (Yellow Hue) - Magnificent

Another long track, complicated in parts, requires concentration on all levels and there is a sequence in the release where you feel it in the legs towards the end, stay strong :)

Track 4 (Amanda Myers) - Shine

One of the shortest track 4's I can ever remember. Easy transitions in movement. Tons of options and a few dance based poses in the release. There is a magical sequence at the end of the the song.

Track 5 (Annie Lennox) - Why

Wow is the word a few moves and long sequences. Love this track and now one of my favorite track 5's now. Just melt into each pose and drift into the track. Awesome track Dr Jackie Mills.

Track 6 (Jennifer Hudson) - Spotlight

A fun track 4 major moves and lots of Pilate's in this ab track. What I have noticed is breath is important in this track. There is a return of a old pose here. If you remember My Culture then this is all I can say :)

Track 7 (Broken Strings) - Mike Stone

Strong athletic track two new poses won't say much more :) love the beginning and the end ouch :)

Track 8 (Changes) - Will Young

All I can say awesome :) love the return of Power Yoga to Bodybalance.

Track 9 (Run) - Leona Lewis

This is my all time favorite track 9 ever. Truly a wonderful track, very moving tons of inversions and love the ending.

The meditation track restful - wanting more of it :)

It is one of the best Bodybalance experiences one can have a big 10/10 from me to Jackie and Diana Mills :)

    Cheers!

I am a huge fan and enjoyed taking the classes way before I started instructing them!!  This new one is awesome!!  I had the great pleasure of doing a Quarterly with Josef and he is not only great to look at, but his presence on stage is so movtivating!  I was right in front of him at the stage (in case he needed my help ! Stick out tongue) and just watching him moving was so inspiring!!  This release is going to kick my members in the butt!!  I love it!!

    Re: BB 46 Reflections

I have to say, I dont mind 46 at all... 45 was average but 44 and 43 were freaking outstanding!!!! I have to say, I dont really find any increase in challenge between releases, each have their own challenges... and back off on other elements...
"This is my body and I can do whatever I want to it. I can push it, study it, tweak it, listen to it. Everybody wants to know what I'm on... What am I on!?! I'm on my bike, busting my ass 6 hours a day. What are you on???"

    Re: BB 46 Reflections

It is certainly a toughie!  I must say though, I couldnt connect with many tracks on this release! I adored Lost and Found (the Tai Chi) by Delerium, Broken Strings (Back) by Mike Stone, and Run (Hamstrings) by Leona Lewis. If you want a relase that you should LOVE, find the tracklist for 34 or see if one of the FLOW instructors could teach it. Absolutely Lovely!
