    Your favourite Pilates tracks

I almost can't believe I'm starting a "your favourite ______ track" thread, but I really struggle with the Pilates tracks when I mix. I can think of dozens of Tai Chi warmups, Sun Sals, Standing Strength tracks, etc. that I know and love, but when it comes time to mix*, I have a hard time selecting Pilates tracks. There are only about three or so that I gravitate toward for each:

    Abs -
    Aint Nobody (23)
    Crazy (39)
I Love to Move In Here (43)

    Back -
    Amazing (41)
    One Step Too Far (32)
    You Got The Love (35)
    Paid My Dues (17)

*Yes, I mix up my BodyFlow releases and don't always play old releases in their entirety. String me up!

I need to broaden my horizons but when I scroll through my playlists on my iPod, none of the Pilates tracks really jump out at me, like "Oh! I remember that one! I should re-learn it.." You know?

So tell me: what are your fave Pilates tracks, and why?

You got my top choice for Track 6 (I Love To Move In Here) Smile

For Track 7, I like 27's "Praise You." There hasn't ever been a track like it since- it's all encompassing (locusts, pointers, swimming, push ups) and it's got a great beat Smile

    Re: Your favourite Pilates tracks

For the front side I would go:

    Unbreakable (#17)

    Where Is The Love (#25)

    Lifted (#27)

    I'm Not Missing You (#36)

    Suddenly I See/Stronger (#40)

    Hold On (#42)

I Love To Move In Here (#43)

    Disco Lies (#44)

    And for the flip side:

    Paid My Dues (#17)

    Muhammed Ali (#21)

    Counting On A Miracle (#23)

    Are You Happy Now (#25)

Last Thing On My Mind (#30)

    One Step Too Far (#32)

    My Man (#33)

    Over My Head (#38)

Won't Go Home Without You (#39)

    Lift Me Up (#40)

    Amazing (#41)

    Forever (#43)

    Shattered (#45)

It's so hard just picking a handful... these are the ones I'm continually drawn back to, but I would have to say that Track 7 from the last release was probably one of the best tracks EVA!

I forgot to add that I also (rarely) do whole releases when I mix.

    :)

    Re: Your favourite Pilates tracks

Erin, I completely agree. I also mix, and I also tend to not love track 6 and 7's: either because the music is not my style, or there was something about the chorey that I didn't like (either too complicated to want to relearn, or every once in awhile one bothers my neck for some unknown reason). So, great thread idea. Yes

    What I gravitate toward:

    6's:

24 My love is your love

    25 Where is the love

35 Release the pressure (this is one of the very few releases I will teach in its entirety)

    40 Suddenly I see/Stronger

    41 Sing

45 Funhouse (really enjoying this one but it's a bit like Stronger - it gets boring to teach really quickly)

    7's:

    21 Muhammed Ali

    22 The Rising (all-time favorite T7)

    24 Ain't it Funny

    25 Are you happy now

    35 You got the love

    37 Champion Sound

    40 Lift me up

    42 Bourne Ultimatum

45 Shattered - I LOVE this track! i am reluctant to mix it out.....
