I must be a visual learner...I've NEVER looked at the notes! ( I use them after the chorey is in my head to check finer details, proper execution of the move, extra cues etc, but never to learn the chorey)

    Re: BodyVive 12

    Hi guys :)

I have to say that with the exception of the first 3 songs I think they have got this one so right. I think the intensity of the cardio is perfect for an entry level class and it balalnces so well with the intensity of the functional strength and care work of the second half. The last 9 tracks are hard to beat. I have been teaching it without going back to older releases for weeks now becasue people in my classes are still really excited about it. More of the same please!!! My class numbers are picking up. Saturday before last I didn't have any spare tubes left (we have heaps), pretty exciting stuff.

We've changed the format of track 4 (using 2 lines instead of a circle) as it didnt work well in our space. That has certainly increased the intensity of the track.

    I can't wait for number 13 now....

With regard to learning this release, I found it one of the easiest to learn for a while, the majority of the tracks I found to be very repetitive, the only excpetion being track 3 with all the little extra marches here, there and everywhere lol... took me about 4 goes before I actually taught it 100%...

Sassy - I do it in 2 lines as well, that's what we we encouraged to do at our QW's to make it easier to teach - I also agree with you that it does actually make it more intense too! One of my favourite BV tracks EVER!!!

Did anyone notice the error in the  BV12 sizzler? It mentioned us doing the reverse curl followed by a plank hover on the step to Britney's "Circus"in track 10. Mmmmm....somethings's amiss here...

Wasn't til I did that exact move a few weeks later in PUMP that I realised their VERY BAD TYPO!

YES! I remember reading the Sizzler ages ago just before last workshops, and I noticed that in there. And I thought "hang on a moment... I'm sure Circus was not in there at the filming!", but then that went to the back of my mind since then. I knew something wasn't right with that sizzler!

Oh! Had an absolute blast in class today. 30 participants and ran out of equipment. I did BV12 and everyone joined in the 'YEAH'S" in the track one V-step and the "GO's" in Aretha's track 2.

Lot's of laughs and big smiles...my manager and other staff are always front row, so makes for a lively class. Can always count on them to bring on the Vive Vibe!

Still on a high...just had to share!

That is awesome news, Maddy! Glad to hear your class went so well! This is what teaching LM programs should be all about, and especially BodyVive. It's slowly starting to get that way with my Vivers as well... we'll see how the next few weeks go with mine :)

Congradulations Maddy!!!!  Doesn't it just energize you when you get a class like that?!!!  I love it too.

Btw, when you shared that story about packing up your bags Friday during Vive training, I had to laugh because I was doing the same thing!!!  Actually I went home Friday night and we ended up with a flat tire!!!  I prayed all night that the spare wouldn't hold so I couldn't go back!!!!  My husband told me later that he had already come up with plan "B" if that happend because I WAS going back no matter what!!!!  There was no way he was going to let me quit!!!!  Cried my eyes out!!!!!!  I"m so glad I went back though because it's changed my life in so many ways!!!!

    Hi Vive!

I hear ya! Nothing really worth having comes easy, so yes Catherine, what a life-changing experience!

It'd be interesting to hear other's module training experiences (though may have to start a new thread...)
