    How's your butt?

been doing attack 57 for about 2 weeks now - and boy can i feel my butt in a whole new way. maybe its all the high knees in track 4 or the plyo/shuffle combo, but something is kicking into my butt muscles in a fantastic way. loving it.

been teaching since 48 and this is a first.

got new shoes recently - wonder if thats got anything to do with it.

any ideas as to why now i'm feeling my behind in a big way - and thats not coz i have a big behind!!!!

I'm feeling your pain, believe me Confused Big Smile

It's been a while since I've been so sore after exercising and I couldn't decide if it was the new Attack or the new Pump that was causing it, but I'm willing to blame plyo lunges for just about anything including toothache, bad weather and cancelled trains cos I hate them so much Big Smile

    Not tired are you???

:-))))) Ultraviolet, You made my day with the post. (FYI, it is the end of it, and it was a tiring one, and I had a lot of academic stuff to deal with, so... you really made me smile)

I hate them and LOVE them at the same time. I did enjoy BA56 and do not consider it a bad release, but I do miss those power lunges, normally they are killing me. By the way, in about a week I start with BA57. Hope I have the same butt-ache.

    :-)))))

    Re: How's your butt?

My butt is wondering what LMI in general has against it this quarter.
Between Combat's tracks 4 and 9, Pump's lunges off of the bench, and Attack's plyo-lunges it's feeling rather picked on.

I, too, am willing to blame lunges (of any type, really) for bad weather, cancelled trains, and traffic jams, along with myriad other Bad Things (TM). In Pump I just load up my bar for lunges 'coz they're gonna hurt whatever, so I might as well do them with weight on!

At this rate my butt's going to pack up its saddlebags and leave, limping off disconsolately into the sunset.

    Re: How's your butt?

    hmmm... let's see...

it's sore... sore, a bit more sore, hurting, in pain, getting even more sore...

:-) Now that's what I call TRACK 4. I didn't have a problem with BA56, and it's not that I didn't enjoy it... but this is what I'd call track 4, peak of the workout. My butt is completely flabbergasted and has no idea what has just happened to it.

    :-) Love BA57.

    smiles,

    Maria

    Re: How's your butt?

Haha, this thread is hilarious =)  Y, plyometric lunges are the moves we all love to hate  aye (but beware... there are plenty more coming in the near future ;)... umm yay???).

I hate plyometric lunges, but had a class last week where they did a couple of older tracks and I was like "dude where are the lunges??" Felt a little shortchanged.

    I reckon that...

It's short, simple and scarily memorable Big Smile
