    annad:

I always thought this said "this track's designed to make you SCREAM"

opppps.... may have even said this in a class or too..... I'll know better now!!!Embarrassed

But what's the likelihood that the participants tuned in to the real lyrics?  I know I said it several posts ago, but people at our gym LOVE THAT SONG...and I always thought he said the track was designed to make you "crave".  So if you're singing "scream" and I'm singing "crave" and people's arms are completely on fire (mine are on that song), it doesn't seem that likely that many people will have the opportunity to get offended.  I also think it's important to remember that we listen to many of these songs way more often than the members do, and typically under better listening conditions (i.e. my quiet car instead of a noisy gym with high ceiling) and have more opportunity to tune in to the words.

That said, if anyone did share with me concerns about that song or any other song, I would use that feedback to modify my choices in the future.  It's their workout, not mine, and if that song is going to turn them off and possibly hinder them in getting a challenging, safe, and fun workout, I'd be happy to choose another.

Not fond of the cooldown on 62, Lips of an Angel by Hinder: "My girl's in the next room, some times I wish she was you."  "She doesn't know you're talking to me.  I don't think she has a clue."  Where I come from, that's called sleezeball.

That made me giggle.  Thanks, Keefer!
