I still haven't set a deadline for signing up - ummm, let's see...
...what's reasonable?
The UK's Post Office site says we have already missed the surface-mail dates for parcels to most non-European destinations way back on the 1st October, which is far too organised for any human being to be. USA, Canada, and South Africa, whose last surface-mail date is 29th October from here in the Yook) -
Air mail deadlines start with Friday 7th December for Australia and New Zealand from the UK.
- obviously your national postal service may be different, so have a look if you get someone out of the hat who's from somewhere far-far-away.
If I said the deadline to sign up and PM me your details is 15th November, does that make sense - gives me time to print off my database, draw the names out of a hat, email everyone to let them know who they're sending to, and also gives time for people to work out who their santee is and to find them something and pop it in the post.
I've been invisible for a while - profile got deleted, so I'm back and 'friendless' with a post-count of about zero - so hello again everyone.
