Lately, when I go into Down Dog pose, I can feel my achilles tendon in my right heel pulling. At first I could just feel it, and now it is starting to get tender when I go into Down Dog. This has been going on for about a month. It seems to loosen up as the class goes on. I really don't know how I could have strained it to begin with, as yoga and Body Flow are the only things that I do. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any stretches/strengthening exercises that they could suggest? I really don't want it to get worse, b/c I LOVE teaching my classes!
