    Music [8] Suggest a Song - canvas for your favourites here

    The "Suggest a Song" link (look left, look down - that's it, below 'healthy living' and above 'about Les Mills'Wink) is, I think, a good thing. With such a wide range of people going to Les Mills classes it must be a nightmare to pick tracks, and the "Suggest a Song" facility allows those of us with too much free time to chip in our ideas.

    There aren't many votes (relatively) on the songs that have been suggested - so I wondered whether discussing them, and giving people the opportunity to pull up a soapbox and tell everyone why a particular song is so perfectly suited, and why they should all mouse over immediately to vote for it, might generate more action.

    Here's a party political broadcast on behalf of a song I'd like to see in BodyCombat (there will be others, 'coz I'm sad like that).

    <pulls up soapbox>

    Artist: Green Day

    Song: American Idiot

    This song exudes attitude from every pore (do songs have pores?). From the lyrics to the grinding axes to the relentless drumming it's all there - perfect to push people into really giving their all in the track. It's a singable tune (of its kind), and it's been popular everywhere since its release.

    It's there in "Song Suggestions" for BodyCombat, and you should go and vote for it now - immediately - without delay - because it's good Wink.

    <climbs down from soapbox>

    Next speaker please?

    Big Smile

    I've been invisible for a while - profile got deleted, so I'm back and 'friendless' with a post-count of about zero - so hello again everyone. Big Smile
