I can't read the thread posted by Lorick1 entitled Release 40 R. Kelly "Rise Up" .
WhenI click on the thread, I see nothing but emptiness.
Perhaps that's the point.
For those of us who live close to Virginia Tech, today's date is surrounded with grief and sorrow. Today, the community around Virginia Tech still feels a certain emptiness, and although there is a great appreciation to those around the globe who have offered support, still, we struggle.
I also have to say that here in our little corner of the world, the BF instructors take great personal pride in teaching "Rise Up"! We take pride in teaching all of the songs in a release, of course, but "Rise Up" is personal. A song that was composed for our students, our families, our friends.
So, to Les Mills, thank you for releasing this song at a time when it carries such significance to the members we teach.
And to those of you who teach BODYFLOW, please wear a special ribbon of pride on your heart the next time you teach track 8. Tell you members about the power of the song, but also that the Virginia Tech community has felt the power of love, prayer, and compassion from around the world.
