    Re: New BODCAST

talk about a turn around..   im sure they got a lot of requests and feedback to make a bit more educational,  which it was.  and i enjoyed that.  but sorely miss the joking around, the laughing and hearing from the people we see on the videos every few months.  (or every day if your a nutter like me)

I loved the info on the stretching, but i want to smile as well, and if i have to choose between the two, i choose the old one.

ps.  i dont care how long it is (the longer the better in my opinion), keep all the edu. stuff, but throw in a little spark as well. and by little i mean A LOT!!!!

    Re: New BODCAST

I agree. I totally understand that a lot of people wanted more educational stuff, but to be honest, I don't care about that and I liked hearing the mucking around. But that's just my preference, I'm sure some like the new style better. Can't please everyone!!

    Re: New BODCAST

With you both...inside scoops, funny bits, bloopers, etc. more of what we crave.  Not suggesting that the information bit on stretching "not conclusive to injuries" isn't good....but I nodded off a bit.  The only spark was the "transition" speaker  which sounded like Mrs. C ...excitement excitemnt....chap came on and said "if you would like to know more"......(oops forgetting babyboomers good stuff on VIVE)....smashed as it was over!

It's not like a global summit....weddings.....child bearing.....QT2 filmings and choreography should get in the way!  C'mon these people eat whole chickens and fight ninjas!  Show and Tell TIME......Wink

    Re: New BODCAST

I thougt that this BODCAST was MUCH BETTER....  felt I actually got something out of it.

The joking around stuff is nice to a certain extent... a little is OK, but don't forget this is going out to different people in different cultures  and there may be some who may not appreciate or understand the humour... (especially when alcohol is the subject No ).

    Good job guys!

    Re: New BODCAST

Nope. Must admit that listening to this bodcast lasted about 5 seconds! I skipped through it as I found it a bit boring to be honest! I much preferred the first one! Confused All that info is freely available on the net from dedicated websites!

Bring back the humour I say! CoolParty!!!

    Re: New BODCAST

i prefered the first one too ...

I skip through it pausing to listen to the little facts in between Thanks Rach:) the rest was too slow and dull for me ..

I like chaotic style of the first one and gossip on whats happening whats going on etc:)

I Love the 1st one more.. The edu session is great but it's like listening to a lecture for more than 20 min... :(

    Re: New BODCAST

I enjoyed the first and current bodcast, first was good to hear from a participant point of view from the program directors, again the current bodcast was good from a participant point of view, as a participant I don't have any qualifications/certificates in health/fitness etc like instructers have, to be able to teach les mills' programs. I really absorbed the stuff about muscles reaction to stretching, and the importance of method of warming up.
