    Pump DVD and Equipment

Does any know whether les mills still sell Pump DVD/Video and Equipment (Barbell and Weights) packages???  I know they use to years ago.  I'm even interested in just the barbell and weights??  I prefer the weightless barbell like the ones you use in pump.  Would be handy, as I live a fair way from anything.

    Re: Pump DVD and Equipment

They used to sell them years ago the package and the video with Jackie - Michael - Emma - Peter - Steven and Cathy. I purchased my set from a local gym store they sold me a reebok step - a bar and weights combination so that I can practice at home. A few years ago they ran out of spots at a 1/4 and I took my set with me to the 1/4 and used them instead. :) If you go to a factory outlet like where I am from they can sell you a bar like the ones used at the Gyms and a step and a set of weights. My weights are sand filled and my bar is the exact weight as the ones in New Zealand.

On now back to you :) yes just go to your local sporting goods store outlet they can supply you them :)

It's going on two years now that I've been waiting for my club to intruduce new weights including 22 Kg plates.  Because bars are from New Zealand it's difficult to find plates that are dirlled correctily yet at the same time think those that survive to be be most humanly correct.

In Australia, us participants should not be attending quarterlies.

If spaces were short, you may well have deprived a certified instructor from attending.

22 KG plates? Surely you mean 22lb? That would be one big plate if it were sand filled!!!

Since you are in Queensland, you can go to  A-Mart All Sports or Rebel Sports they has similar weights to Bodypump. There is a business at Underwood that does the same. Can't think of the name but it is on the Pacific Highway.

Just remembered Elite Fitness, they sell direct to the public. So you can order from them and they do ship across Queensland. They also sell the step as well. Their bars are awesome they can hold up to 50 kgs and have a long sleve so you can hook on more weights.

    *sighs*

as far as the OP profile goes, he ain't an instructor ( am willing to be corrected)..so, no DVD pack to work out at home.

By all means buy a step/bench and weights, just don't expect the package if you're not an instructor/trainer.

Takes the "group" out of group fitness really...

Certified  and practising instructors (take note of those)..get the DVDS (aside from one blatant mishap by LMAP)

Folks, can we please drop this constant sniping.  Everyone knows the story by now, so the endless tirade against one person is tedious and unconstructive.  If you've got a problem, then report it to Les Mills.  If they don't do anything about it, then that's their issue.

It all seems very childish to me and detracts from what is otherwise a great Forum.  Only 6 posts in this thread and already 2 snide comments, it's not a great ratio  Sad

    Re: Pump DVD and Equipment

The original post was dated 02-28-2007, 9:21 PM that is 28th Feb 2007.

Just for the record this post was dated 03-01-2007, 1:19 AM that is 01st March 2007.

That was over 3-years ago. I answered the question in 2007. The time space here is over 3-years ago. I also suggest that the original poster has moved on and please look carefully at the time date stamped in the reply. I answered the question over nearly 3 years ago so the original poster got their answer.

I answered the question the day it was posted on 01st March 2007. That was over 3 years ago nearly.

The original poster had only one post here and that was the post they originally posted here. The likelihood of them returning for an answer is minute.

So in 2007 when the question was asked allot of the posters here were not here in this forum and that is the intention of the answer I supplied the answer in 2007 not 2009 but 2007 and that is where it ends

Also to someone who posts on this forum they know who they are I told you that I will never speak to you here under no circumstances and that I will never in a million years ever speak to you here ever.I will never as long as I have a single breath in my body put a single key stroke to my computer and reply back to you I said a few weeks back it ends then and it still ends today so never ever speak to me here or have any contact with me here. Never in a million years would I ever respond to anything you say to me here or any other place.

    The end!

BTW: This happened in 2007 and that none of you were posting here back then to suggest that I answer to anyone in this forum for me posting here in 2007 is utterly ridiculous and is nonsensical, baseless and a mute point.

    Wow,

That's all a bit weird!..wonder why it floated to the top of threads?

I edited this, as Rod has changed his post..the "bit weird" was not to his original post.,it was to the thread reappearing..and I was here back then whatever it's worth.

What was that time frame again? Not sure I got it.

Makes no difference. You weren't an instructor then and aren't one now.
