    BV challenge

I'm posting this to help others who might be struggling with BV class participation like we are.  In July, we're doing a Challenge classes.  We are going to change the focus each week:  week one, extra cardio fitness, week two, extra dance cardio and using handweights with the strength, week three, extra interactive and extra core.  We will finish the month with the full BV 6 release to prepare for our BV 7 launch.

We are dropping the yoga/tai chi and moving very quickly through the tracks to finish on time...its going to be tight.  We compete against Zumba for our participants and I believe the non-stop party is why people prefer that format.  BV takes too much time to set up between tracks...the flow seems to be improving but still is perceived as "too slow."

The good thing about this challenge will be that each track has high and low options...everyone can still participate.  If you can use the idea, great, let me know how it goes over in your club.

By dropping the yoga/tai chi track, HW.  It usually takes me only 55 minutes to finish the class...adding in the extra puts me right up to my time limit.  I have to move without breaks.  Everyone loved it...we had fun.
