    RPM emailer

I am pursuing the idea of forming a "club within a club" to which end I am looking into starting an email update on all things RPM for our members...this is a two sided approach which is to build a loyal class following and also to educate the members....Is anyone aware of an existing RPM email newsletter that I can utilize ...otherwise I will be creating my own....

    Thanks

    Hiya Mike,

I'd recommend creating a "Group" page in your Facebook account (if you have one). If not, make a Facebook account for yourself, add a Group page for you "club within a club" and then encourage your participants to Join the club. You can limit access to only those who come to your classes, if you wish. That way, everyone can upload shared information, links, photos, etc and you can still publish a newsletter on it, also. As creator and administrator, you have all sorts of options on how to manage the page/group.

I do a running club as a "group" page. You can see it at http://groups.to/southWindRunners if you want to check out an example.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing for those who come to my classes. I just haven't yet.

Bradley...this is the way to go...and thanks again to Doug...easiest way is to go here:

    http://www.facebook.com/groups/create.php

and fill in your preferences...a huge majority of the RPM'ers at our club are on Facebook so this is really going to work well, throw some pics and video up there, get announcements out for everyone...throw some teasers out with regards the new release etc etc..
