    Gossip on BB 47

Been shot for nearly a month by now.  Anybody got anything to share?

Getting tired with my BB46, but at sea about which one to mix out first.

Track one perhaps, great music, but hard to follow moves.......

I remembered Dr. Dave said this one is very Ying, feminine, styled.  Really?

Something like the Indian curved little finger (Lotus fingers)?

    Re: Gossip on BB 47

I'm sorry I don't have anything. Currently I am still in the "BB45 aftermix" and I am looking forward to launch BB46 the beginning of October. A pity to hear that track 1 is hard to follow, I will see how that one is received here.

But if anyone has something to share about BB47, I am ready to hear it.  :D

I heard also that is it quite "girly"... does Jackie forget she has male instructors and participants?

It's hard enough keeping my token male(s) in the class without overly feminine choreography!

I'm currently in Auckland, so will report back soon :)

    Re: Gossip on BB 47

Ok, perhaps I'm not quite understanding this whole female vs male choreography business, but in balance I find all releases have a strong powerful feel to it and a soft and flowing feel infact a good blend of each.  Can't see how they can be classified as male or female.  Ballet could then be classified as female only but same of the best ballet dancers are male, eg Li Cunxin, (Mao's Last Dancer).  Read the book, brilliant read!!

Will be happy to hear your report on it Duncan!!!

     Keep the Flow!

Remember:  What If Feels Like For A Girl, Madonna.(Bodybalance 13) I love that track and as a participant back then I had no issues doing that track as well as Independent Woman Part 1 - Destiny's Child following no problems at all :)

    From a males perspective :)

    Cheers!

    The sizzler has landed!

Don’t let the soft and flowing nature of BODYBALANCE 47 fool you – this is one of the most challenging releases ever created. Warm up with a series of simple, traditional Tai Chi exercises. The exercises are laid out in an evolving progression, making it easy for your class participants to master the moves. You will be challenged in the Sun Salutations Track. The new innovation is the 3-Legged Dog, shifting to Plank Pose and then sinking into Crocodile Pose. Find grace and make the movements feel beautiful in Track 4. There’s a gorgeous strength and balance sequence in this track, set to one of the most unusual pieces of music ever used in BODYBALANCE® – Soul Saviour’s For The Windows In Paradise, For The Fatherless In Ypsilanti. The Core – Abdominals Track features very slow, controlled Pilates moves which will put your endurance and abdominal strength to the test. The uplifting song Show Me What I’m Looking For brings back the Bow Pose and Pilates Swimmer Kicks, building back strength in Track 7. There’s also a new pose called the Scorpion, evolving from the 3-Legged Dog. Increase your mobility with the beautiful twisting poses to Beyoncé’s Halo, before coming into the Hamstring work to Annie Lennox’s stunning rendition of Whiter Shade Of Pale. You’ll love the Forward Folds and the Standing Split. Then relax into your own Quiet Place.

Scorpion, eh? I wonder how that'll look. Surely it's not the traditional Scorpion pose...if so, I can see why they'd call this the most challenging release ever...

I was at the filming for BB47, and I can certainly confirm that this is one of the most challenging BBs ever to come out! It may be an all-female presenting lineup, but man they pushed us to our limits with this one. The main challenge with this release is finding strength and grace within the poses that we do... extremely uplifting!

Can't give too much away though... the sizzler should tease you enough Wink

No, it's not a traditional scorpion, however the "scorpion sequence" is REALLY REALLY REALLY tough.  REALLY.

If you ever have issues of people leaving before Relaxation, they will truly collapse on the floor after this release and welcome a little quite time to collect themselves.

Can this program get any tougher?

I still can't decide if I like this song - it's T10 in Combat right now. Guess I have a whole new quarter to make up my mind. Confused

T6 sounds nice - I greatly prefer the slow core tracks vs the fast ones.

    Re: Gossip on BB 47

mmmm I heard murmurings of "scorpion"... lol but who knows! apparently it's going to be "like no other body balance ever before..."
"This is my body and I can do whatever I want to it. I can push it, study it, tweak it, listen to it. Everybody wants to know what I'm on... What am I on!?! I'm on my bike, busting my ass 6 hours a day. What are you on???"
